Best Day Ever

I received a gift certificate for a spa day from my husband. I chose to go to Vitality based on their website & that they are an "all natural" spa. The reception was friendly upon arrival & showed me the spa. My massage was soooo relaxing! Definitely planning on more of those. I loved my facial & really felt the difference the next day after my peel. They had my favorite OPI color for my pedicure & I liked that the nail room was private. All in all, I can't wait to visit again (and again!).

I had made appointments for myself, my mother, aunt, and sister to get mani's and pedi's two days before my wedding. The appointments were made three weeks prior, and I was called by Vitality to move the appointments earlier to better accomodate our small group. I was okay with that but when we arrived they were running 15min late. The spa seemed very chaotic and disorganized. They didn't know who was working on who and what services we were suppose to get. The lady working on my mom had the flu and finally left mid-appointment. The rest of the staff was extremely unprofessional complaining about having to work later into the day. I had been growing my nails out for months for my wedding and the lady performing my manicured completely cut my nails down without asking. It literally was the worse manicure I have ever recieved and was 65 dollars. I had to go the next day and have acrylic nails put on. You only get one chance to make a first impression and after such an awful and disheartening experience we will never be returning. Not the memories I wanted to share with my family two days before my wedding. I would never recommend this spa to anyone. St. Louis has plenty of better salons to visit.

I recently had a massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure at Vitality. I was very pleased with the experience. All of the technicians who performed my services were very friendly and professional. I felt they listened and actually focused on what I needed. I really appreciate this because I've been to many spas in the past and many therapists seem to not listen or not care. Overall, a very relaxing experience! I will definitely return to this spa.

I am always extremely impressed with the service that I receive at Vitality Unlimited Spa. The staff is always calm and welcoming and no matter how stressed I am when I enter the door, I feel relaxed when I leave! They really care about my needs and believe in what they do. I started coming for massages, but now frequent the spa for everything from manicures and pedicures to waxing to nutritional care! Vitality also carries several lines of high-end products that have become a part of my daily life. I truly have seen a change in my overall wellness since becoming a regular customer of Vitality! I'll be a customer for life!

My boyfriend got me the couples getaway which included Couples massage, facials, lunch for two, manicures, and pedicures. Our day started with the couple massage. They had us set up in a tiny outdated room where you could hear people walking by the entire time. Then the washing machine started in the room next to us and that was all I could focus on during my massage. I thought the experience was supposed to be peaceful. After that we split up for our facials which I found mine to be great, but my BF had a terrible experience. The lady who did his facial had terrible body odor and did a half ass job. We told the girl at the front desk about this when we left but she didn't seem to care. After our facials we had lunch for two which meant being put in what looked like a tacky employee break room. As we were trying to enjoy our lunch random people started coming in the room my BF asked what they were doing and the ladies said they were there to attend and organizing class. You would think they would wait till our lunch was over. They didn't have time for my BF to have a manicure & pedicure so I just had those services. The mani & pedi were fine but nothing spectacular. The spa is outdated and in my opinion does not offer a relaxing experience at all. I would never go back. Don't waste your money!!

My family booked a total of 9 services for a spa-day. Unfortunately, one of the massages that had specifically been requested and confirmed suddenly wasn't available when we arrived. Then the appointments themselves were mixed up and I was left laying on a table on my bad back for 45 minutes waiting for my next service. When the massage therapist finally arrived I specifically asked if the rest of my family was finished as I didn't want to leave them waiting and I could have done without the service. I was told no only to find out that they were indeed waiting in the very small lobby while I finished. While waiting, my mother purchased future services, that we then decided, after discussing the overall experience, we no longer wanted. When we called to cancel the future services and request a refund on the credit card, the owner of the spa, Michele, rather than apologizing for issues we'd encountered and cheerfully refunding us, instead argued with us about the services, made excuses for the lack of service and then finally told us she would take care of it the next day. I asked that she contact us to confirm the credit had been issued. Two days later, after not hearing from her, I called the spa to confirm and the owner told me she had credited the amount less $20 because she was charged that amount by her credit card company for processing the refund. So bottom line, we were charged $20 for services that we didn't receive. While the massage staff seemed capable enough, the overall experience was not pleasant. Despite stating on their website that "Stressed minds, bodies, and spirits are soothed, centered and nourished," we were instead left more stressed and frustrated by the lack of customer service and the overall attitude of the owner. I would not recommend this spa if you are looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Everything at the spa is wonderful ! I had an amazing facial that was everything I could ask for and more. The staff is so friendly and the spa is just so relaxing and invititng. I felt like never leaving! My day started with a warm cup of tea and a cozy robe. Then I had a bath in their private tub and massage right after. Then the best facial I have ever had. This was an expeience I will never forget!!
