This place has specials all the time, which is fantastic because I can actually afford to go here once a month! Everyone from the front desk to the therapists are all extremely nice and professional. The environment is clean and comfortable. I was there with a friend last time and we both left relaxed and rejuvenated. This day spa has the best massages in New York City and the best facials in Midtown Manhattan. I can't wait to go back and experience a Couples Spa Package!

Two weeks ago I received a European Facial from Marina. It was wonderful! Marina was very helpful and professional. She knew a lot about the skin and the procedure she was doing. I had a lot of questions, all of which she answered. She also made the extractions as gentle as you can make them. When my facial was over, I was sad because it was so relaxing. My skin felt great and I couldn't wait to come back.
Marina told me because of the type of skin I have, that I should come once a month. The young lady at the front desk helped me in choosing a series of 5 facials. That way i can come back and save a little money at the same time. :)
I highly recommend this spa if you are looking for great, professional services in new york city.

THIS WAS THE 1ST TIME I WENT TO HIS SPA. I WENT WITH MY HUSBAND AND DID A COUPLE MASSAGE WITH CHAMPAGNE . THE ADVISED US THAT THEY HAD ANOTHER APPOINTMENT SO WE HAD TO LEAVE THE ROOM. THEY PUT US IN A CORNER TO HAVE THE DRINK. THERE WAS NO ATMOSPHERE. .ALSO THE SPA WAS DIRTY, WE WOULD NOT GO BACK HERE

My friend is moving from NYC, So I decided to treat us both to a massage. The spa is very clean. The staff is nice and friendly. The massage therapist asked me where my trouble spots are. the walls are very thin so you can basically hear any noise around. The music comes from outside of your room so you can't really hear it. Overall it was a nice massage. my friend liked hers as well.

I liked the facial, but a rather small place and kind of a noisy atmosphere, but can't really be helped due to location. Friendly staff, and I would contemplate going there again, but it's annoying how spafinder certificates are discouraged in the sense that there are different pricing or additional fees.

I really enjoyed this spa however, I feel that I should have received some form of discount once I made mention that it was birthday. For the past five years I've been going to the spa for my birthday. I always get a package that last about 2 to 2.5 hours. Trust me I pay good money as well.
Also, for whatever reason the manager was arguing with the receptionist which was very unprofessional. The place is very intimiate therefore, you need to limit the tone of your voice.

i got the Valetine packege the price was good for everything i was getting but, the massege section and the pedicure were weak i do have to say that the facial was great. The location is not good is veryyyy smalllllllll you can hear other people including the staff talking from the hallway plus it seen like they dont do laundry the sheets and roube were durty. Please visit other spa in the city.

I just went to get a facial at this spa. i thought the service was very good, and really liked the woman who gave me the facial, but there were certainly some things i did not like. Namely, they use paper products--paper towels and kleenex--on your face. i have never had a facial with paper products and did not like it. also, the spa is very close and therefore noisy. it was not very relaxing.

I have to agree with one of the other reviewers on here in which mentioned being ripped off when utilizing a spafinder gift certificate on any of the package deals presented. They told me the same thing. That they take an EXTRA percentage fee due to me getting two offers in one. Using a gift certificate should not be considered an offer likewise to that of a package deal service. The gift certificate had been paid in full and should count towards its full pricing. Due to this issue, I shall not be going back here again. Rather get my full worth at another Spa which is most likely nicer anyway.

I really loveed my visit to this spa. I had an extrememly relaxing but thorough facial. My combination skin was even and glowing for the rest of the week after my visit here. The service was relaxing and I was able to zone away with no loud interruptions from traffic or any other noise. The orices are on par with the area but not as high as bliss. Just as nice and effective though. I will definetly return soon!

I found this spa while looking for an affordable spa day experience in NYC not expecting that such a thing could happen in a NICE spa. This is just that spa! The location is easily accessible, very clean and inviting spa. I purchased a body scrub and 45 min massage and found a GREAT value on this site and the spa's website. The only drawback I see to this spa is that it is a bit chaotic/disorganized when trying to book. Because its a small, but quaint spa, there aren't many rooms for services, thus they cram people into the timeslots. My appointment time was rescheduled 3 times! I booked with a friend and her services were about 30 mins longer than mine, but I went in first. While we were scheduled to begin at the same time, my friend waited 20 mins for her services to start. Therefore, I had to wait for an hour once my services were done. While it didn't bother me much, as I was in a relaxed mode, this may be bothersome to others. If this would not have happened, I would have given better ratings, as the actual spa experience and care the technicians took was amazing.

I received a spa finder gift certificate and wanted to do a package, but was told by the spa that their policy is to charge 17% extra to all full priced packages. They said they casnnot give two specials, meaning the spa finder gift certificate is considered a special discount or something for them. I called five other reputable spas afterwards and they do not have this policy and said they do not charge anythind extra. I find this ridiculous for Faina and it truly deters the customer from going there to use their service if they receive a gift certificate. No matter how great their service is reportedly, they need to re-look their policy and make adjustments. Very disappointed!!!!!!

I've been going to this Spa for approximately 1 year now, and I enjoy all the treatments this spa offers. I especially like the european massage there. My friend who I reffered, loves coming to this place for Facials, the European Facial. Whenever I'm stressed and need relaxation, I call this Spa and they always have a spot for me. They are very flexible. Atmosphere is peacful and the employees are extremely friendly. I look forward to going to this Spa again very soon.

This spa has the most wonderful facials. For years i had an acne problem, and the spa helped me get rid of all the blemishes i had on my face. I really recommend this spa if you are in need of a great facial. The staff is very nice and outgoing,it has a very comfortable atmosphere and i enjoyed my time there.

My husdband bought me a wonderful package to this spa for my birthday. It was a great way to have a day of pampering. Everyone was friendly, and the spa has a fantasitc european charm to it. I enjoyed the lavender body scrub and a steam shower, followed by a european body massage. The facial was surprisingly delightful. I usually don't want anything done to my face. My face was glowing, and my skin felt brand new. They really know what they are doing here. It really is a great gift to give to anyone, I know my husband did good by sending me here!
