Not far away, the town of Villasimius offers a selection of shops and restaurants, while the larger town of Cagliani is about a two-hour drive away. The nearby "Sette Fratelli" nature reserve is home to a number of pink flamingos. For guests interested in the history of the area, Nora, the first town on Sardinia, is a short distance away, as are the spectacular columns of Is Zuddas Caves.
