About Vickmay Skin & Body Spa
Vickmay Skin & Body Med Spa is an education-driven medical day spa that offers customized skin and body treatments. The spa's six treatment rooms provide a relaxed setting; the decor is warm and European-inspired with dimmed lighting adding to the soothing atmosphere.
Personalized and detailed attention is given all spa clients. Before services begin, clients participate in a private consultation with a professional skin-care specialist. During the consultation the client's goals and expectations as well as possible individual corrections and treatment plans are discussed.
Spa services include massage, body treatments, facials, facial peels, acne treatments, makeup applications and lessons, eyelash extensions, and permanent color cosmetics.
Medical offerings include vein therapy for the face and legs, medical microdermabrasion, hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating) treatments, hyperpigmentation treatments, CoolGlide™ laser hair removal, laser skin resurfacing, Botox®, Restylane®, Perlane®, and Juvéderm™. Titan™ laser skin tightening and Photofacial cutera laser treatments for redness and pigmented lesions, LimeLight® facials for the treatment of skin redness, tiny veins, brown spots, and sun damage are also available. In addition to focusing in body and skin treatments, Vickmay specializes in pre- and postoperative care by preparing the skin for surgery and creating a maintenance care plan after surgery for clients.
Staff members performing services are all licensed and laser-certified. Treatments incorporate Vickmay's own product line, Skinceuticals, Agera skin care systems, and Sothy's Paris products.
Clients can select from a number of luxurious packages such as the Two to Tango, which takes place in the spa's couple's suite with beds covered with rose petals, chocolate-covered strawberries, and champagne on ice or white rose tea. There's also the Decadence Package, with a caviar facial, warm champagne body wrap, four-hand body massage, scalp massage, the Peppermint Foot Pampering Treatment, and a foot paraffin dip.

This spa is strange, to say the least. For one, I had made an appointment for a salt glow body scrub, followed by a one hour hot stone massage.
When the lady took me into the treatment room, she said she would now be giving me a complimentary facial and asked if I could come back another day for my hot stone massage. WTF??
When I checked out, she tried to charge me for both treatments even though I never got the $105 massage!!
Sad to say, I will NOT being going back to this spa anytime soon.

Received a gift certificate from my kids for the holidays. Used it at Vickmay Skin & Body Spa. This was by far the best facial and massage I have ever had. They took such great care of me. Even coordinated my hair needs at the salon next door. Can't wait to go again.

I used my Spa Finder gift certificate here for my birthday. They must have made a mistake and instead of telling me, they put me in a dirty room, gave me a facial and left me waiting for an hour for a massage I never got. They never apologized, they did give me a coupon for another massage but I was so turned off I would never go there again. Warning.

I have never had such a relaxing day! It was a cold dreary day, with rain pouring down outside. I decided to treat myself. I bought myself a special I found. I received a facial and a massage combo, and it was amazing. The facialist, Kelly, tailored the facial to my concerns. I relaxed and fell asleep as the warm steam and aromatherapy scents surrounded me. Afterwords, I changed into a soft cozy robe and slippers,and was taken by Sarah into the massage room as I sipped champagne. I had the best deep tissue massage I have ever had in my life. The beds were cozy, and the rooms were beautiful, with candles everywhere. My only complaint is that I had to leave! I will be back as soon as I can!

I found Vickmay several years ago after sweating it out for years looking for someone qualified after my aesthetician retired, while trying all kinds of products lines including Sisley and La Mer (far too much money for not great results.)
Vickmay selects her products carefully and designs a comprehensive skin regimen that improves your skin. Let me say it again, she designs a regimen that IMPROVES your skin, its tone, its resiliency, and effective age treatments (I'm over 50).
She's so skilled and knowledgeable, and she instinctively works with you and your lifestyle to design a skin care methodology that both fits your lifestyle and budget. And she continues to study your skin over time to change the regimen as needed. This is a luxury, yes, but when people can't believe how old I am when I tell them, I partly have Vickmay to thank!

I was treated to a day at vickmay skin and body! The spa was decorated beautifully, and the beds were comfortable and warm. I have been to many spas in Austin and this is the real deal! Vickmay combines luxury with professional medical esthetic care. It truly is the best of both worlds! My skin has changed drastically for the better! I feel like a new person.

At first, I was not happy about the fact that they only have female theropists. I prefer to have a male becuase women have little hands and do not have strength. Just like I assumed, it turned out to be what I exactly expected. The therapist was thin and having a hard time to give me a massage( I heard that she was breathing hard). It won't give me relaxation if someone is trying hard to put enough pressure on me. Also, while I was having a massage, loud laughing continued for a while. I guess the receptionist was talking with customers or something. Overall, I really did not have a relaxation. The atmosphere was not great. I had a spafinder gift certificate, so I went there, but I would not go there if I pay out of my poket.

My husband gave me a gift certificate to Vickmay for my birthday after hearing rave reviews from friends. I was not disappointed. Champagne was served as I waited for my treatment room to become available. My facial technician was amazingly professional and knowledgable. She took her time and crafted the facial to my needs. Her extractions were performed with surgical tools and left no marks or redness. My massage was wonderful and tailored well to my needs. I would highly recommend this spa, and have to many friends.

are the spas that offer the garden variety clinical appointments and there is VickMay Skin and Body. This place transports the body and the mind. Vickmay's setting has channelled "European cozy". Years of training in France gives Vickmay the ability to successfully address every skin issue I have brought to her in the last fourteen months.
During my most recent appointment, she and her lovely staff started me with a photo facial, then I had the best massage I have ever experienced (with Elizabeth) and she sent me home with products, to which I am simply addicted. The services and dermatological expertise is consistently excellent.
I can't wait to go back for more...

I started going to Vickmay about one year ago. I was really struggling with breakouts and had never had a good facial experience before. Vickmay put me on an affordable regimen and my skin has never looked better. I always feel like a new person when I leave the spa and I trust Vickmay 100%. So many spas make you feel like a number... Vickmay treats each person according to their needs. The massages are also amazing and the laser removal is also affective. It's a one stop shop. This woman has a heart of gold and her staff is extremely qualified. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

When I moved to Austin from California a few years ago, I struggled with finding a spa where someone was knowledgeable enough and the environment was pleasant to serve all my spa needs. I finally found everything in one place at Vickmay's. I get my laser treatments, facials, massages, waxing, eyebrow shaping and color, skin and makeup products and a host of other services performed by a highly qualified and professional group of people that have been at Vickmay's for quite sometime. I'm not fond of meeting new people everytime I go for services at a spa. At Vickmay's, you look forward to seeing the same cheerful faces everytime you arrive. I was so impressed, I've gotten my husband hooked on their facial series and products as well.
