  • About Fountain Spa, The

    The Fountain Spa is a day spa with two locations that wants to provide a "resort spa experience close to home" to clients in northern New Jersey, and Rockland County, New York. Each location has 21 treatment rooms, steam rooms, two single private Jacuzzis, and two Jacuzzis for two, as well as event space. In the Tranquility Room clients can unwind with teas, juices, muffins, cookies, and fruit and order spa cuisine at an additional charge. Full and half-day experiences are available for men, women, teens, and couples and include services such as body and facial treatments, and a full menu of salon services. The spa's floatation bed gives clients the chance to experience a Satin Smooth Crème Wrap, a Dead Sea Mud Wrap, or a Seaweed Body Wrap Laminaria. While clients are in the bed they are surrounded by water (but don't get wet), and are rocked or massaged by a therapist.

I really enjoyed The Fountain Spa. They have a nice variety of services available. Great facility, good prices. I visit there every two weeks for a service. A salon at the Hackensack location would make it even better.

This spa is at the top of my list....go when I need a "special treat". They have a "flotation bed" which I first experienced in California, and love. I haven't found anyone else with this great feature. I usually get the "silky smooth" and after this treatment anyone will feel absolutely wonderful, no matter how stressed!

I brought my 16 year old daughter for her first massage. She was very excited and a bit nervous, the staff made her feel very comfortable and at ease. We enjoyed time in the tranquility room until our appt. time. I shared a quick smile good bye and off we went in our separate directions. When I met up with her again-she said that she totally enjoyed it and wanted to book another appt. before we left.

My Fiancee and I went here for a Valentine's day treat and it was unbelievably relaxing! We purchased the Deluxe Rendezvous for 2 and also got seperate facials as well. The whirlpool was a great start to helpin us feel relaxed. The massage was also very good, but the facial was even better! The woman who did my facial asked me questions about my skin and made recommendations on how to keep it healthy. She really took her time and took care of my skin. While the mask was setting she played with my hair and massaged my scalp. I will definitely go back here!

I can say WOW.The message I had was the Deluxe Full Body Message. The female I had was great!!!! she took her time. And hit the spots that need the massage the most. I am a NYC Bus operator I need to feel like a queen for a day. The spa is so relaxing. Everyone should have a spa treatment.

I went for a prenatal facial and massage. The facial was amazing, the massage wasn't the best I've had. The girl was rushing I felt and it just wasn't good. I would go back and try it again, but the girl I had wasn't good at all. The spa atmosphere is great, always really crowded but beautiful. It's great that it's in Riverside Square Mall, you can make a day out of the spa, lunch and shopping.

I've been to this location several times and loved each visit. Their tranquility room is so peaceful and comfortable and their locker rooms are always spotless. I actually like the location within a mall because it's easy for my friends and I to grab a bite to eat after a nice relaxing session at the spa.

Fountains Spa, Riverside is usually the one spot my girlfriends and I like to go especially with the amazing relaxation room and the staff who does the services are great. Accept that one day I went for Spafinder week, it ended up being an experience I probably would like to forget. It was not the services being provided but the girls at the front desk who are suppose to be the first and last impression you get from this place. I can't believe how these girls could make you feel as if you were trying to scam them out of a service when it was their responsibility to make sure wrong information of promotional deals were not told to clients especially if the spa were pushing on upgrades that day since it was Spafinder week. I have a gift certificate there and most likely I would have to use it but after that my girlfriends and I don't plan to go to this spa anymore even if the services were good. Because there are plenty of spas within the NJ/NYC area who provide clients with excellent customer service along with exceptional spa services minus the attitudes.

I had a gift certificate to a full day at the Fountain at Riverside. I had a facial, massage, mani & pedi. All wonderful experinces. The Polynesian Pedicure was the most amazing I've ever experienced. Lotus flowers float in the water. The facialist was fabulous - after examing my skin she suggested I change to a Sensitive Skin facial and it made a big difference. The warm stones during the massage were so relaxing. You really do leave here feeling refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated.

I loved everything about this spa, and forgot all about where I was until I went into the tranquility room. I could see a parking garage over the outdoor waterfall wall. Other than that, the spa was amazing. I enjoyed the massage, the pedicure and the staff was extremely friendly. We took my sister there for her 40th bday and it was a worthwhile girls day at the spa. I loved the steam room & the showers were brand new & well maintained. Everything was sparkling clean. I highly recommend the Fountain Spa to anyone in the area.

If you're looking for a city-level spa in New Jersey, you've found it! A friend's recommendation had peaked my interest and then I received a gift certificate which made me more excited to book the appointment. With two locations, it was very easy to get an appointment on the weekend. Unlike most places, the clock didn't start ticking from when you walked in and you could take all the time you'd like in the sauna, in the lounge, locker room, etc. I had a 90 minute massage that might have been the most indulgent amazing massage I had ever experienced. I was more relaxed than I had been in years and have been going back ever since. If you're looking for a spa to call home, you'd got it.
