Irina's Holistic Skin Care is a professional day spa that provides unique personal non-invasive, anti-aging skin-care services using organic, edible ingredients. The 2,000-square-foot spa features three treatment rooms and strives to provide a relaxing atmosphere with an antique flair and a welcoming reception area. Flowers, soft music, and fresh herbal tea create a relaxing yet rejuvenated mood. The spa's signature treatments are corrective herbal customized treatments for problematic skin conditions, including acne, oily skin, rosacea, sun-damaged skin, and dry- and aging-skin complexions. An extensive treatment menu includes a variety of facials, gentle and natural peels, intensive treatments for the eyes and lips, hand and feet treatments, double-chin reduction, waxing, body scrubs and wraps, lymphatic drainage, and non-invasive face lifts. I loved my facial, the best I have ever had. I had a bit of a problem finding but glad I did. I thought Irina was was very knowledgable and I liked that she explained how I could improve my skin condition. My face felt wonderful.

I was pleasantly surprised with my facial! I get facials about every other month. It's hard to find a 'good' esthetician that knows what they are doing for your skin and not just following protocol, step 1,step 2, etc (like inSpa). I love that she used the vacuum to get rid of 'debris' on my face. The only other place in Seattle (that I know of) that uses the vacuum is Nordstrom. And she did manual extractions! My appt was for 90 min, she never once left the room (unlike other Spa's when your mask is setting). She was always doing something to my face. Her products felt great & smelled wonderful especially for organic non-toxic products. There are plenty of organic non-toxic products that I've used that 1, smell horrible 2, don't feel like they work at all. She used a Clarisonic, a LED light & another device (I was too relaxed to ask what). There was NO pressure to buy products (I probably would have thou) but alot of the stuff she uses on your face is custom for you right then & there. I'm giving everything 5 stars except atmosphere. Don't think that you are walking into waterfall tranquil Day Spa. It's just a little shop, the room was a bit cluttered & bright. But that should NOT deter you from going.

Not only I enjoyed the facial itself and afterwards looked like I just came back from vacation, but the effect of the facial lasted for quite some time.
I liked the eye cream I bought and Irina gave me several really useful tips about skin care. I am definitely coming back!

I went to this spa because I had gotten a SpaFinder gift card for my birthday and when I went online to find a spa, I was impressed with the reviews Irina had received. The service was very good and my skin was extremely soft for days! Irina is very professional, obviously takes pride in & enjoys her work and it shows!

I went to Irina because I had a gift card for SpaFinder. She gave me one of the best facials I have ever had. She is informative and explains in detail the products used. I bought a few of the products and my face continues to glow. Irina is very soothing. My only somewhat negative comment is that the lighting in the room is a bit harsh. It seemed a bit clinical. My skin feels and looks great. I would certainly go back.

I had no idea my skin could be this good. At 55 years old I had accepted that bumps, cracks and thick skin was just age-appropriate unless I was willing to adopt the use of chemical peels or radical intervention. After just three sessions with Irina my skin is smooth and supple, I love it! Irina uses all natural products that are actually edible! I highly recommend her services.
Her facility in Ballard is a quiet and beautiful refuge on a super fun shopping street. I highly recommend anyone of any age try her hour long facial. Always seasonally appropriate and so relaxing!

For the first time I had my facial with Irena Shpigelman. I enjoyed her professional way to diagnose my skin type followed by exfoliation and extraction, cosy environment was a plus! A friend of mine had gone to see Irina for a facial & had raved about her. Irina was having a special & I trusted my friend so I booked an appt. I had been having some real issues with my skin due to clogged pores so I needed help. I loved the facial that Irina gave me!!. Irina took her time with me & when I left my skin looked & felt better. I have some old acne scars & my skin looked smoother! My boyfriend even commented on how my skin looked really good. I liked that Irina recommended some natural things I could do at home & she wasn't pushy with products. I did need a new sunscreen & face wash. I wanted products that didn't have a bunch of chemicals & she was able to help me and they were not expensive. Ok, I'm 51 yrs old & I've had facials at other places & this was the best facial I've ever had & my skin is looking amazing. I've gone back & my skin continues to improve. I'm thrilled I found her!!

I've had problematic skin all my life and have gone to a number of estheticians, none of which impressed me. I really could not have asked for anything more from my experience with Irina. This was my first facial with her, and when Irina was done with me, my skin felt clean as a whistle and very soft. The difference in how my skin felt from when I walked in to when I left was tremendous. The facility is clean and quiet, and I liked the unobtrusive yet calming beachy music. Ira is friendly yet professional, and she made me feel at ease from the first moment. She answered any questions I had, but let me relax in quiet when I felt like it. I also get the sense that she intuitively knows how to interact with many different personality types. I definitely am going back and would recommend her to anyone!

Irina is professional, honest and very educated in skincare. She explains all the products and procedures and makes you feel comfortable and taken care of. Her quiet demeanor as well as her soothing massage is not only relaxing, it reduced my feelings of stress.
