I had visited this spa a few times for two massages and a facial, and I enjoyed it enough each time to go back. It's not a fabulous spa with tons of amenities, so don't go expecting to be blown away or leave feeling hugely relaxed. The person I scheduled with recommended a different massage therapist for this past spa day, and I really regret going with him. It was an extremely uncomfortable hour. The massage was hugely underwhelming, and the therapist was incredibly awkward. My facial that followed just made things worse. Don't expect to see or feel any difference in your skin after having a facial here, it just feels like a series of lotions and masks applied to your skin and wiped off with a warm towel. Nothing productive for my skin has happened here. They do massage your hands and feet, which is a nice touch, but if I'm going for a facial, it's because I want to see results on my face. I'd recommend Chase for a massage, and Diann for a facial, but I wouldn't recommend any of the other therapists. I feel like I wasted my time and money. As I was checking out, I found out that a gift certificate I had given to the front desk upon arrival had been misplaced. This was just the icing on top of my very lackluster spa day.

When I booked the appointment, it said to come in about 15 - 30 minutes early to let yourself relax before your treatment. I decided to come in 30 minutes early since I have been have been really busy at work, and I really needed some down time. I was really looking forward to relaxing in their lounge. After I checked in, I was told to wait in their retail area, and my therapist would come and get me. I was a bit disappointed that I would be sitting on a hard stool for 30 minutes waiting for my appointment. After about 20 minutes, I got some tea and was asked if I wanted to wait in the lounge, and I said yes. I am not sure if this is how it normally goes at Hiatus, but as an avid spa-goer, this was very different from what I was use to.
For the price, my mani-pedi retreat was great. I love the anti-gravity chairs, the headphones, the blanket, and the eye pillow. The sensory journey was a nice, relaxing touch. My therapist was very attentive and knowledgeable. I loved just being able to drift off, and wake up to cute hands and feet! I have had better mani-pedis elsewhere, but it was a great deal for the price.
I will go again to try some of their body treatments, and hopefully I will be able to relax in their lounge a bit longer!

Wonderful! There was a small mixup and I had to wait longer than expected, but the facial and Diann was so worth it! It was my first visit here, and I'll definitely will be coming back. I was so relaxed and couldn't have asked for a better day! The girl who checks you in is very nice---she helped me opened up my locker when my combination wouldn't work. Great spa, great waiting area, drinking water is amazing!
The only thing that was a little surprise was the $18.00 required tip during Spa Week. When I booked my appointment, I was told that it would be 18 PERCENT and I planned accordingly.

This is the MOST Amazing spa I've ever been to. The Facials are what I go back again and again for. They entail so much more than the basic facial. Try it and you'll be a repeat customer. This spa is not really close to my house-about 35 min away, but it's TOTALLY worth the drive. Also I've had the Mani/Pedi there but again it's the Facials that I go back for.

This was by far the best spa experience I have ever had. The body polish was an experience to be had, and my skin has never felt so smooth. The massage was great, and the pressure was perfect. The aesthetics was less painful due to the bright and caring personality :). I am looking for a reason to come back to Dallas so I can do it all over again. Encore!!!

This spa is AMAZING!!!! The staff is so friendly. I felt like a Queen for the day! Marty who does Mani-Pedi's was such a sweet person and gave great advice! Nikki was amazing as well, either will give you a great Mani-Pedi!! If you are looking for a warm inviting environment, this spa is for you! I will defiantly return!!!

I had a mani/pedi and everything was good. I have had slightly better ones so was glad this was on special and not the full price. Be careful, if you book a spa finder deal you will not be able to use a spa finder gift certificate to pay for it, I did not get told this until checkout time even though when I booked I asked for the spa finder deal and asked if they accepted spa finder certificates; nothing is listed about this restriction.

When SpaFinder first started these events, they told guests and participating spas that they could not use their SpaFinder gift certificates for the already discounted services. Long story short, they have changed the format and all wellness week events going forward will be eligible for Spafinder gift cards- which is good for all of us. : ) We hope you will come back again! I have tried basic to deep tissue massages and basic and plant peel faicals. Your experience will differ depends on which therapist you get. Jeff does a good massage with good pressure. I am a member there and will keep going as long as I can afford it! =)

This is my second visit to the Hiatus but my first for a Swedish/Aromatherapy massage. Loved it!!
Cady was very sweet and professional and refrained from chatting throughout the treatment which, for me, was a great plus and helped me relax and enjoy it. I will definitely be going back!

Visited the Hiatus spa on Spafinder deal days and was not dissapointed. Upon walking in the large curtain on back to the treatment areas, you can feel the tranquility. The waiting area can be a bit larger though, and the front staff can be a little more accomadating, but my actual facial was one of the best I have ever had!! Very personalized and unique to one's need. I was glowing ;)

I love this place and can't say enough good things about it. I was referred by a friend who is a member and I went during deal days last spring for my first time. I've been back once since then. My only complaint is that it was a bit crowded up front (maybe b/c it was a Saturday?), but once you walk past the reception area you feel like you are entering a relaxation zone! The relaxation area is very warm and inviting, and i love the hot tea. The service started with a foot scrub in a copper foot bowl and after picking out an aromatherapy oil, i got to slip under the covers of the warm massage table (although i wouldn't want a warm table in the middle of August). The massage therapist was great- he had a very nice flow and he checked in to see how the pressure was (I really prefer when they ask instead of having to tell them). I had a facial l during deal days and added on a plant peel- my skin was glowing for a week. Planning to sign up for the h-circle and get the plant peel once a month. Highly recommended.

Andrea was super sweet - she did an awesome job!
I loved the foot soak at the beginning and I also loved how you get to choose the scent/aroma for the foot soak and for the room.
Andrea explained what she was doing and recommended a skin regimen.
She was not pushy about it - like most spas are - she only recommended what I needed.
I highly recommend her!

I had the best facial ever at Hiatus! The facial started off with a nice foot bath and they had a special promotion where you could add on a free Carribean Therapy foot scrub. It was very nice and gentle and a great way to step into the spa experience. My aesthetician, Andrea, then continued to discuss with me my skin concerns and diagnosed a treatment to fit those needs. I got the Hiatus Facial with a Plant Peel add-on. I'm not sure if it was the plant peel or the facial itself, but my skin was absolutely glowing afterwards. Andrea also prescribed a skin regimen for me to follow in between appointments. My skin is feeling and looking years younger!!
The best part of this place is that they have a membership program where you pay $59 for any of their core services -- facial, massage, or body treatment. I'm in loooove. :)

I have been an H-Circle member since January '09. My favorite part: knowing I have already scheduled and paid for a massage every month, the cleanliness and decor of the dressing rooms, the serenity of the overall site. The service I have used the most is the massage service, and it has always been excellent. I've also had the facial and body polish, both of which I enjoyed. There is a lot I like about the spa and its services; my reservations are more about the support staff than the services or the technicians, who have always been professional and skilled.
