About Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness

Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness, housed in an 17th-century restored hacienda along the shores of a gentle river, lies amid the Urubamba Valley, lush land dotted with archaeological sites and villages where the Incans held influence centuries ago.

Located two hours from Machu Picchu, the resort's interiors, including its 115 guest rooms and suites, join colonial decor with a touch of modernity and minimalism, accented by sophisticated features such as a glass-covered orchid pyramid. Hotel amenities, such as a church, museum, and gallery highlighting contemporary artwork from regional artists, afford guests a glimpse into the ancient culture of Peru, while fashionable fixtures like an on-site cinema and business center provide convenience and entertainment.

Dining options include gourmet and vegetarian restaurants that specialize in regional and Spanish specialties, and in the 25,000-square-foot Unno Spa, guests can unwind in the water and wind meditation chambers or Inca sauna.

The 11-treatment room Unno Spa, nestled amid verdant flora and lagoons, features a duet suite, steam and sauna areas, fitness center and yoga studio, Vichy shower, solarium, oxygen-relaxation room, and three hydrotherapy pools calibrated at various temperatures. The spa's menu of services blends current anti-aging technology with exotic Andean world treatments that incorporate regional elements—Peruvian red jasper, white quartz, and citrine gems for chakras balancing; Maras's salts for body scrubs; and Andean herbs and muds for wraps and massage, some of which are performed on a heated stone table.

Signature services include the Inca sauna, which uses medicinal and aromatic herbs like eucalyptus, molle, and markku grown from the property's gardens, where guests can indulge in cleansing rituals with a shaman. Additional offerings include packages designed for bridal parties, men, couples, and those with special conditions such as diabetes, high cholesterol, and hypertension.

A fitness center with cardiovascular equipment, as well as a yoga and Pilates studio are also available.

Aranwa and Hamay Spa are amazing! Cusco is a magical destination, but Aranwa improves the experience with its great facilities, having restored the nice "hacienda", rescuing a bit of our traditions, creating an incredible environment of peace and nature, with all the confort needed to enjoy a nice climate and excellent landscapes. Thanks to all the staff for being really kind in every moment, and for allowing me to escape from rutine in such a wonderful way!
