About Portland Regency Hotel & Spa

Situated in the heart of Portland's historic Old Port district, one block from the city's working waterfront, the Portland Regency Hotel & Spa blends classic charm with contemporary amenities. In a Neo-Romanesque building that was once a state armory, the newly constructed hotel is within walking distance of many of the city's shopping, dining, and art attractions.

The 95 elegantly appointed guest rooms and suites remain faithful to the hotel's original architecture, and meeting and event space can accommodate up to 200. The property, a member of the Historic Hotels of America, features a full-service spa equipped with a fitness center, Jacuzzi, steam and sauna area, and two couples' suites.

Winter spa escape

My cousin and I visit the Regency once a year, in the middle of winter, to get pampered. Small but extremely clean facility. The hotel is very reasonably priced (around $450 for three nights) -- the beds are comfortable, rooms clean, and complimentary coffee is delicious. In the spa, the treatments use unique ingredients (they smell divine) and the staff is friendly, competent and very kind. Would certainly recommend for a moderate priced escape to be pampered!

We stayed at the hotel and visited the spa once at the beginning of our trip and once at the end. Both were great massage experiences. My wife and I were in the very comfortable couples room. We get massages every time we go on vacation and really enjoyed the service at your facility.Additionally, the hotel was great and very conveniently located within walking distance of everything we wanted to do in Portland.

We always look forward to our treatments at the Spa. Sunshine is my partner's all time favorite massage therapist. We are convinced that we have found the best Spa in Portland.

I was very happy with my recent visit to the Regency Spa! It was really nice to be able to get into a robe and be able to use the facilities prior to or even after my treatment. I received an amazing Deep Tissue massage from Heather, who was very attentive to my specific needs, I will surely return!
