Overlooking the gulf of Saint-Tropez and the seven beaches of Pampelonne, the Château Hôtel de la Messardière looks like a castle on a hill. On 25 acres of beachfront land, the property comprises the original chateau and a Mediterranean-style hotel. All rooms at the seasonal property (closed from the beginning of November until the beginning of April) feature balconies or terraces.
The Spa du Château serves both hotel guests and day clients and operates in partnership with La Prairie and Cinq Mondes products and features an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, gymnasium, steam baths, shop, and a hairdresser.
All-inclusive packages are offered for guests, and there is full concierge service on-site.

Every detail of the spa has been chosen to instill a sense of grandeur like that of the château. Decorated with mosaics, carved stone vaults and columns, stained-glass windows, and precious fabrics, the spa also features a terrace and Italian-style garden.
The 465-square-meter spa holds seven treatment rooms, including a Thai massage room, hand and foot beauty room, outdoor cabin with sea views, and a duet treatment room with hammam. Services are performed with Cinq Mondes and La Prairie products. The Soins Provence du Château is the hallmark service; a Camargue sea-salt scrub with olive wood oil and lavender is followed by a massage with lavender and olive fragrance. Other specialty services include a Swiss cellular facial for men, couple's rituals, and a calming massage with macadamia oil.

- Saint-Tropez has a mild climate for most of the year. Summers are drier, and in July and August, highs are usually in the low 80s, and lows are in the mid 60s. During the spring and autumn, highs are in the 60s and low 70s. Winters rarely have temperatures at or below freezing.
