  The Kloster Marienhöh--Hideaway & Spa, housed in a carefully restored monastery, is located in the village of Langweiler, in the Hunsrück district of Rhineland-Palatinate. The hotel offers guests a secluded retreat in the wooded countryside, with Lake Steinbach and the Wildenburg castle as its backdrop, and is devoted to wellness, tranquility, and nature.

  Recent renovations produced modern spa and swimming pool facilities while preserving tradition, with antique furnishings, quarry stone facades, and cloisters that remain faithful to the original architecture. Meals are served alfresco in the romantic cloister garden and in the restaurant, formerly the refectory, featuring an open fireplace and a regional-inspired menu. The 66 guest rooms, some with balconies, offer picturesque views.

The 800-square-meter Kleine Klostertherme spa has three treatment rooms, in addition to separate men's and women's locker areas with showers. With a nod to the property's vast parkland setting, the spa was built with natural materials, and native elements are incorporated into on-site facilities: the bio-sauna uses fresh pine needles, and the steam room is immersed with the region's rock crystals.

The spa menu comprises skin, body, and hydrotherapy rituals exclusive to Kleine Klostertherme. A relaxation lounge outfitted with a fireplace and cots welcomes guests before or between treatments. Kloster Marienhöh celebrates its scenic country setting with a plethora of outdoor sporting activities. Guests venturing outside the cloister gates have immediate access to the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig, a 180-kilometer (112-mile) hiking trail winding through southwest Germany, from Saar Bow to Idar-Obserstein. Bicycle rentals allow visitors to explore the countryside, and during the winter months, skiing and snowboarding are available. Day trips can be arranged to the nearby Nahe, Moselle, and Saar wine regions.
