    The Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa, located in Short Pump, Virginia, on Richmond's Far West End, opened its doors in December 2009. With 254 guest rooms and 33,000 square feet of conference and event space, the hotel is designed to accommodate both vacationers and business travelers.

    The chromotherapy inspired Aura Spa & Salon offers an extensive menu of massage, body treatments, facials, and nail services. Additional on-site amenities include an indoor swimming pool, a fitness center with Precor equipment, and Shula's America's Steak House.

    The luxury shops, movie theaters, and dining at the neighboring Short Pump Town Center are within minutes, and Virginia's beaches are about two hours away.

Chic and contemporary, the 5,000-square-foot Aura Spa & Salon houses a couples suite with a soaking tub and rain shower, and multiple treatment rooms, along with a relaxation lounge and separate men's and women's private dressing rooms. Interiors offer an energetic vibe with vibrant splashes of purple, pink, and green and a chromatherapy-inspired design aesthetic; furnishings like pedicure pods with iPod docking stations add to the modern feel.

Treatments incorporate Kerstin Florian products and include signature services such as the Aura Signature Massage, the Healing Pedicure, and the Aura Signature Body Treatment, a combination of a full-body scrub, wrap, and massage. And with a menu of teen (12-15 years) and tween (9-11 years) treatments, spa-ing can be a family affair (parental guidance permitted). Bridal packages are also available, and an outdoor patio can be booked for parties and groups.

Room Night ranges from $119 - $239 dependent on season pre tax. Spa Sampler Packager per registered guest is $159 per weekend and $149 per weekday all inclusive per guest

I had a pedicure and manicure done by Lori and would highly recommend her. She was polite, attentive, helpful, and really nice! She did an excellent job all around! I also got my haircut by Joseluis and he was just as wonderful. I think my hair actually looks better than it ever has after someone cutting it! He was also very nice, friendly, and attentive. Will definitely be going back and have nothing but good things to say about the facilities. Worth every last penny!!

The entire experience was wonderful and calming. From the lighting to the tea, to the couples massage I was thoroughly pleased. The only unfortunate thing is that I forgot to remember the name of the young lady that did my deep tissue. It relieved my back pain for about a month.

I was apprrehensive after reading a bad review but totally enjoyed my manicure/pedicure this morning. The facility is beautiful and very calming and the technician was experienced and did a wonderful job. From the moment I walked in and met the receptionist, who had a lovely smile I knew I would have an enjoyable morning. I would not only go back but would gladly recommend this spa. Joyce

I decided to try this spa as Red Door was booked. It is a lovely facility and my technician for my pedicure and manicure was very sweet and the experience was enjoyable. I will go back. However, the spa has only been open for a few months, and a few things need to be worked out. First of all, the prices need to be available on the website, as well as the fact that at 20% surcharge is automatic. Secondly, I was greeted quite oddly, being asked if I had enjoyed my treatment ? There were several persons at the desk but I was simply told to wait. I was NEVER offered anything to drink, and finally had to ask for some water (they offer an elixir, with fruit in it, that was really nice). I wish they were more professional, but I did enjoy it.

My husband and I have used Aura Spa and Salon for massages (Beth is awesome!) and hair care. He has his hair cut and styled and I trust Kim with my color and style as well. We have been clients of the spa since they opened and recently began to use the salon. The manager - Kristi Gilmore - is a 5 star spa professional and it shows as this lovely oasis blooms. We always feel rejuvenated - in fact, my husband has a hair appointment today and I'm scheduling a massage. We stay in the Hilton every week on business (and have since February 2010)and the Aura Spa and Salon is one of the reasons we feel at home.

The spa is very beautiful and relaxing. The decor is completely white which makes you feel as if you've entered another world. Service was very friendly and I felt very welcomed and comfortable the entire time. My daughter and I both received facials and thoroughly enjoyed them.
