I just found this salon and a wonderful hair dresser named Danielle about 5 months ago. And now the reason I come to this salon is only for Danielle. She does student appreciation 50% off days on Monday and I love the way she does my hair. I get it layered and a full foil. But... =[ she won't be here for much longer! I find the one person I trust with my hair, and she is leaving me?! HaHa. No, but in all seriousness she will be missed. Thank you for everything Danielle. Great Job!

I decided to try the spa since I had a good experience with the salon but it was slightly disappointing. Although the spa area is seperate from the salon area you have to go to the salon's reception and waiting area which is always busy. It's not the most relaxing atmosphere. Once you're in the spa, they have the pedicure chairs right outside of the treatment rooms and you can hear conversations through the walls of the treatment room. The facial that I had was good but it was overshadowed by the commotion going on outside of the room.

I was attracted to this spa because of the great value of the spa treatments. I had a mud nourishing treatment. When I arrived, I came early, assuming I would be led to the spa waiting area, but was left to sit in the loud salon area until I asked if their was a seperate spa area. When I was taken for my treatment, it was in a room that was very chilly, so once I stripped and got under the one towel that they had, I was very cold. They asked about the temperature, and I said I was cold, but after several tries at adjusting the thermostat and heating pad on the table, I never really was anything but cold. The mud was nicely warm, but cooled very quickly, and the drying process left me even cooler. I was enjoying it, but struggling to keep comfortably warm, especially when the description had promised a warm treatment. One of the highlights is the temple massage she gave me with some aromatic oils. I thought that was wonderful! The best part, by far, though, was the AMAZING shower they had. In an adjoining room, they had a complete spa bath, and they started the shower which had five FABULOUS jets! This helped warm me considerably and I would go back just for the shower! Afterwards, she rubbed me down with some fantastic smelling lotion. Overall, it was a great treatment, leaving me soft and smooth, even if the beginning was a bit rocky.

I have been going to D'Jais for several years now by referral from a friend. From my first visit until now, I continue to love the services that have been provided to me and can't say enough about the staff. I use D'Jais regularly for haircuts, manicures, pedicures, and also used them for my hair, as well as bridal party members' hair, on my wedding day. Despite the fact that it is always so busy when I go, I am always greeted and welcomed upon arriving. I feel so comfortable there and it is such a great stress relief for me to be in such a relaxing environment. I feel that all of the services are provided in a professional and caring manner and are many of the reasons that I keep on going back. If you are looking for a place to feel relaxed and to be treated in a caring and professional manner, then I highly recommend D'Jais. I love it and will continue to go back time and time again...

My wife bought me a spa finder gift card to this salon and I was apprehensive and a little embarassed to go into a spa. When I entered the salon I was greeted by a girl at the desk that understood my position. She brought me to a waiting area that was very discreet and comfortable. My massage was awesome! I've had massages on vacations and can't believe how much better this one was. The staff was very friendly and down to earth. iI am so glad that it wasn't a stuffy, snobby spa. I just got my wife a gift card for mother's day!!! She's gonna love it! thank YOU Jordan @ D'Jais.

Front desk area and staff was complete chaos. When I arrived it took a while to get my appt and papers in order but leaving was worse. I must have stood there 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. I have NEVER been ANYWHERE for a massage that was not a quiet, relaxing environment. It is obvious that massage services was an afterthought at this "spa". Massage room shared a wall with the bathroom so you could hear the toilet paper roll and the toilet flush everytime someone was in there. Room was tiny and entire place was tile. Not only does that make it cold but every noise is echoed, whether the door is closed or not. Directly outside of the "massage room", which was probably a closet at some point, was the pedicure stations. Lucky me, I got to hear about 8 people having conversations the whole time along with the footsteps of anyone walking around. I have never heard of a place that gives massages in anything louder than silence. It wasn't just that there was some noise, it was actually loud. I seriously thought it was a joke, like I was on some tv show. When making your appt they should at least warn you that massages are not in a quiet environment, then let you decide if that is ok with you. I thought I was going in for a nice, relaxing massage and instead was more tense and irritated when I walked out the door. The massage itself wasn't even good. Her technique was different (not better) than anything I've ever experienced, and I've had plenty of massages. The worst part was that she rubbed the massage oil on my face!!!! Usually if they massage your head and face it gets done first and then they use the oil on your body. So not only was I disctracted by all the noise but for the whole massage I kept thinking, I need to get home to wash my face! My skin breaks out with oil free lotion let alone oil. To sum it all up- the massage was awful and the atmosphere even worse. I really and truly would never recommend this establishment for any kind of relaxing service. For a hair cut or manicure... maybe, for a massage...never. I can't possible be the first to feel this way, I am not a picky person.
