About Silverado Resort and Spa
Just 45 minutes north of San Francisco in California's Napa Valley lies Silverado, a historic 1,200-acre destination resort in the rolling hills of wine country.
The Mansion, a California landmark built in the early l870s in the Italian and French styles, stands as the welcoming place for all guests checking in. Designed by then-owner General John Miller and his wife, it houses the lobby as well as the Royal Oak Restaurant, Main Lounge, and several meeting rooms.
The Spa at Silverado opened 1999. The largest spa in the Napa Valley, it has both indoor and outdoor treatment spaces. Two championship golf courses, tennis courts, and the stunning natural surroundings also attract clientele ranging from conference planners who want to hold meetings in a healthful environment to couples who want to enjoy some time alone together.

The 16,000-square-foot Spa at Silverado has 16 indoor and 3 outdoor treatment rooms. It takes advantage of the surrounding beauty of Napa Valley with skylights that admit natural light to many of the treatment rooms, tranquil courtyards, well-placed gardens, and scenic views. The airy interior, with its high ceilings and open spaces, is conducive to relaxation and meditation.
The spa's signature treatment is the Tui Na (tway NAH), one of the oldest forms of massage in the world. Developed in China, it combines acupressure and stretching to prompt an increased flow of vital energy and is the basis for many Western forms of massage. The spa also offers many other forms of massage along with body care, skin care, and salon services. The fitness center boasts cardio equipment, free weights, group fitness classes, and on-site personal trainers.

Silverado Resort and Spa has been the location of several Girl weekend trips. The spa is welcoming and perfect for a group to get together to celebrate each other. The whole package included a room, wine tasting, breakfast and a gift bag.
We had so much fun. I highly recommend this location for a celebration.

My cousin and I went here for a girls weekend to escape the madness from work and our personal lives. It was the best weekend I've had in years and it was local for us.
I live in the East Bay and my cousin lives in Sacramento. Getting to this resort was so easy. The spa services were exceptional! I had a deep tissue massage that left me in the sky the whole weekend. My cousin received a bikini wax for the first time and they were gentle and patient with her.
The staff in the spa area was really friendly and the place is super clean.
We used the pool, gym, and tennis courts. All these facilities were not crowded at all.
Our room included a view of the golf course and part of the main hotel area. The breakfast was included in the package and it was delicious.
Our package also included wine tasting at Black Stallion. We both left with a bottle of wine.
The 2 person package was perfect for us and worth it! I plan on going back with my mom and her sisters soon so they can experience the most get away spot close to home.

Had a much needed deep tissue massage today and it was awesome! Tracy did a superb job in soothing the trouble spots. I came out feeling refreshed. Then I had my regular express pedi. Silverado is the only place I go to for pedis. Luv the complimentary champagne. They also offer light snacks with beverages at the lounge. This spa is super clean and everything you need is provided. Plus, the people are friendly and provide excellent customer service.

I shared my SpaFinder birthday gift certs with my sis-in-law on our visit Jan 26, 2011. We were skeptical because we both have health issues & this was her first spa visit. We tried the aromatherapy bath & massage medley for a total of 1 hr each. We needn't have worried as the facility, staff & total experience was more than what we hoped for. My therapist was Debbie whom I would highly recommend. She listened to my concerns regarding a recent back injury. Her massage was gentle & effective. My sis-in-law's therapist was Gina and, like my experience with Debbi, Gina's knowledge & willingness to share her expertise with exercises to use AFTER the visit to help my sis-in-law with upper body pain after a recent surgery only enhanced her first spa experience. The facility is clean & beautiful with zen-like ambiance. Afterward, you are invited to use any of the spa amenities or relax. It's hard to leave! The staff cannot do more for you from the front desk with Sarah to the women's locker room & lounge with Adrianna. The Visitor Center in downtown Napa highly recommended Silverado Spa. No reason to go elsewhere in the wine country. Thank you Silverado Spa. Thank you Napa Visitor Center & Thank you SpaFinder!

I came here for a Girlfriends' Getaway with 3 friends; we all received a massage and a facial; two of us enjoyed both of our services, while the other 2 were not impressed. I received the Tui Na massage (a milder version of a Thai massage) and an Organic facial; the services were completed right on time and the facility was clean.
I used the fitness facility quite a bit during my 2 night stay, attending 4 classes and using the treadmill! The aerobics room is the smallest I've ever seen, if there are more than 6 people in there, you are rubbing elbows with others which wasn't fun at times (the gym is available to condo owners in and around the resort) but I still enjoyed the classes.

The staff are very courteous, prompt, professional & friendly. Really, everyone I came in contact with or even passed briefly would smile and was friendly. The spa is fresh & clean with a plentiful supply of towels, snacks, personal items for shower (shampoo/conditioner, lotion, cotton balls, mouthwash, etc.). It is not as large as I had expected, but it is kept nicely. It was not overly crowded either so you are able to relax before & after your treatment. Appointments were right on time throughout the day.
I had such a nice time, spent the entire day there.
