The location is great, the establishment is beautiful, but the downsides are: 1. we waited to start our services and were not offered anything to drink and just sat outside in the main floor of a shop; 2. the three story walk up to the massage room; 3. We had a couples massage, and they just put us in the room to get undressed and start the massage... 4. the masseuses were discussing how to go about a couple's massage and organizing themselves while we watched, 5. we didn't get a changing room or chance to relax or prepare or a shower after the massage which was uncomfortable to leave oiled up. I was expecting a bit more for $400 that we spent. Disappointed =(

Some girlfriends and I had a spa day while on a weekend trip to Galena and we decided to try Clover on Main.
The spa is in a building with 3 floors with very tall/long stair cases. You definitley get a bit of a workout if you have multiple services going on in one day. (facial on one floor, massage on another floor, etc.)
It was a unique experience in that sense. I had a Swedish Massage, a mini-facial, and then hair wash/style and make-up application. If you visit the spa's website, they tend to offer a few different 'variety' specials which are nice if you have a few hours to take advantage of the package deals.
My massage was pretty good, average. My facial was really good, I would have liked to have had a long /full facial next time. I definitely would try this spa again if I was in the Galena area. The hair stylist & make-up artist were great too! All in all a good experience.
