Have had a wonderful massage at the Sanctuary Spa in Cambridge.The staff were all very nice and I had a lovely relax in the Lavender lounge prior to my massage and after my massage.You certainly do not feel that you are in the centre of Cambridge as it is so tranquil and relaxing enviroment.

I recieved a 2 hour gift of time voucher for christmas and now can't believe I waited so long to use it. Upon booking my treatment the receptionist was very helpful, I was given a list of treatments to chose from and she helped advise me on the best treatments to suit my needs. In the end we decided on a full body massage and a facial. When I arrived for my treatment I was given a tour round the spa. I changed into a robe and went and relaxed in the lounge before my treatment. The lounge was a little small but still relaxing. At the start of my treatment my therapist put me straight at ease. We started with the full body massage and she worked on my knots. By the time we got to the facial I was thoroughly relaxed. After the treatments I was taken back to the relaxation lounge. Then as the icing on the cake I was given a glass of champagne. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a bit of me time.

Experience TERRIBLE from start to finish. Receptionist was very abrupt. Treatment was poor, especially for price. I received a facial, and it was below par to say the least. What I like from a facial is a clean feeling whilst still relaxed. This was lotion upon lotion being rubbed on, I needed a shower after as all in my hair and face felt very clogged. The waiting lounge was tiny with dirty glassest, torn magazines and dirty blankets thrown about. For a place with their 'Number 1 day Spa' reputation I was NOT impressed. Only positive side was my therapist was lovely, albeit not the most knowledgable. I strongly recommend you to NOT waste your money.

Just what you want in a local day spa!

Tucked away in Cambridge's Grand Arcade, it makes for an easy and convenient day spa experience. Not being a local, I was thrilled to find I parked on the spa's level (all very easy) and could walk to and from my car without running into too many other shoppers. Had a great massage with an obviously experienced therapist. The relaxation room was small but very well appointed. Definitely felt like I had had a nice break from my usual routine!

The massage therapist did not know anything about how to give a proper massage. It seems as though she never had any training as a therapist. It was a complete blunder. I would never return or recommend this place to anyone. Overpriced as well. A waste of time and money.
