    AJ's Spa Millennium was voted Number One by FOX 8 viewers for the Best Facial in Northeast Ohio and strives to offer customized results-oriented treatments to guests. The 5,500-square-foot facility has music piped into every room and aromatherapy fragrances throughout the facility. There is a hair studio as well as six treatment rooms including a room for body treatments that incorporates a Vichy shower. Treatments include manicures and pedicures, facials, massage, body treatments, hair services for men, women, and children, waxing services, makeup applications including bridal services, and permanent makeup. The spa's Millennium Aromatherapy Collection features therapies with incorporating lavender, champagne, rose, chocolate, mango, and wild honey. Free skin and hair and scalp analyses are available and the spa hosts tai-chi classes every Wednesday night.

If you are thinking about going to this salon or buying a Groupon, then DON'T! I've read the reviews before I went to the salon, I should have listened to them...I thought people were just being over exaggerated, and I went to look at it myself. Now, I rather pay $70+ for a Brazilian wax in a nice salon where I know I will be pampered instead of TORTURED. I've been getting waxes all my life, I know its supposed to hurt but not to the extent where I have to put on antibiotic ointment and pain relief. She got all the hair off, along with my skin...I'm full of scars! I don't know what keeps them in business, but its definitely not their gentle touch, kindness, nor atmosphere.

They were so nice at the front the staff was so warm and the service gets an A+++. i have never had a brazilian wax done so quick, thorough, and with minimal pain!!!! i will definitely come back and do recommend! i have also scheduled some other services because if they can do a brazilian wax that way i can only imagine how thorough the rest of their services are!

Let me just preface this by saying I have never felt the need to write a bad review for any place until now. I sure wish I would have read more reviews before buying a Groupon for here...I had made an appointment to get a Brazilian walked in 10 minutes early and they said they had no appointment scheduled for me. After waiting 30 minutes for someone to "fit me in" (not an appointment I would care to rush by any means) I was put into a room with hair all over the floor and ratty towels. The only reason I didn't leave is because I had driven over an hour and had already paid. The lady that came in to do my wax seriously walked in said hi, and pulled off my towel that was covering me. She was SO rude, didn't say but a few words to me. I will give her this, it was VERY QUICK..but seriously left me on the table crying. Not because of the pain but because she was so rude and rough. When she was finished she said okay, see you back in 3 weeks and walked out WITHOUT washing her hands or using sanitizer!!!! AND, she didn't cover me back up before opening the door...it was awful and I hope no one else has to go through this experience

I always get my eyebrows waxed here by Marnita. She does an excellent job every time. My eyebrows are always nice and even. She could be more friendly or even a little. Doesn't speak hardly to you at beginning and barely says Thank you if at all at end of service. I'm very wary of people touching my eyebrows so if I find someone who consistently does a good job then I stay with them despite everything else. This is the only reason I keep coming.

I went to AJ's for a bikini wax. I will never again return - despite having purchased a groupon for 2 waxes. The atmosphere left a lot to be desired. The room was uncomfortably hot. I had to blow hair off of the bed before I laid down. The esthetician re-dipped the stick in the wax repeatedly rather than using a new stick each time. Even the application of the wax resulted in discomfort.She was brutal and the wax actually left welts on my skin. There is one strip of skin that started to bleed. Never again. I do not recommend this spa to any other women!!

I visited the spa for a brazilian wax for my first time visit. I was taken back and waxed by a woman who did not introduce herself or ask my name- made no small talk and acted as though she would rather be anywhere else. The room appeared dirty and messy and I noted hairs floating in the melted wax. As I changed lifted up the sheet to look under the table to see several hairballs and fuzz. The actual wax was efficient although a bit brutal. She does not have a gentle touch what so ever and I have had several waxes elsewhere. She also used the same stick throughout the entire service, re-dipping in the communal pot after it touched my skin. When she was finished she coldly left the room and told me to "have a nice day" and I did not see her after redressing nor did she walk me to the register. Decide for yourself but this place is a dump.

It's really sad when people have to be untruthful about services that they receive at spas. First of all every brazilian wax or any service that I perform at AJ's Spa Millennium I always introduce myself by saying "hello my name is Marnita I will be performing your service today, how are you?''. Then I begin to find out information about the person that I am about to service like their name, if it's their first service of this type, and if they have at least three weeks of hair growth. I always try to make sure the guest is comfortable with the service that they are about to receive and if they are not I will share with them ways to relax more during the service. I also share with them the different positioning that will take place during the service and that there will certain areas that we will get to where it will be important not to jump. In regards to the unhealthy sanitary conditions that this guest is referring to it is absolutely completely untrue. I challange anyone at anytime to vist and inspect the room and the wax pots that I perform the waxing services out of it is not only the cleanest wax room that you can ever and I do mean ever get a service in but it is inspected by the health board twice a year and it always passes the strict inspection requirements. The guest above clearly has some issues going on and I don't know what they are but I surely hope that she resolves them for herself. My questioin is if the room was as she says why would she continue the service???? This type of service is too personal to be subjected to unsanitary conditions. I do over 300 bikini waxing service from this very room on average every month and I am not willing to jeopardize my guest health.

Please BEWARE of this place. I have never been disappointed over a pedicure... They do not have spa pedicure chairs that are comfortable. They use a foot spa that you have at home, but some how NO jets, becuase it wasn't PLUGGED IN!!! My feet just sat in almost cold water and was charged $65??? This is normally my time to relax, but this was FAR from relaxing.... If you are looking for something remotely upscale.... This is not it!!!

I made an appointment for a manicure a week in advance. The day before, I got a call asking if I could change my time from 1pm to 2:30, which I was very happy to do. I got there right on time and after a few minutes, the manicurist came out to tell me she was behind and could I come back later. I told her I had already changed my appointment and that I had driven 20 minutes to get there. She then said that she could be with me in 30-40 minutes and I consented to wait. 50 minutes later I went to the desk to inquire and when the receptionist came back from talking to the manicurist (who never even came out to talk to me again) I was told it would be 20 minutes more! I left!! I have one day off and waiting at AJ's is not the way I want to spend it. I will never go there again, as they didn't even seem to care that I was leaving.

I was very pleased with my overall experience at AJ's! From the time i walked in until i walked out the door the staff was very friendly and helpful! At first i was a little shocked at the price, however, I will pay whatever price for Marnita's services! My eye brows look amazing, feet feel fantastic, and the quickest/best Brazilian I have ever had!

I've been going to this spa and getting my hair done by a stylist who has been excellent. In this visit I made an appointment to get a manicure. They had a new nail service called Axxium Nails by Opi, which is a colored gel polish manicure which is supposed to last 2 weeks or more. I'm growing my nails out and need some reinforcement so I decided to try Axxium Nails. I realize with gel the layers are to be applied thinly but the color wasn't deep enough even though I selected a purplish pink color. The color was nice and rich in the pot but not as applied on my nails. The color was applied so light I could see my own nails through the color. I'm not sure if the nail tech was being lazy as it took a great deal of time with all the thin layers and curing time. I needed more layers than what was applied. When I got home I noticed the nail color wasn't evenly applied also, some places were lighter than other places. This is my first experience with gel and didn't know exactly how it was supposed to look. I'm certain gel polish is to supposed to look like regular nail polish in regards to the richness of the color, the only difference is that it lasts longer and has a high shine, otherwise gel wouldn't be popular. I've concluded the job that was done on my nails was horrible. I had to use nail polish on top of it. I supposidly had my nails done by the head nail tech. To top it all off, when I went to the desk to pay, the owner asked to see my nails and he stated they were nice and the color was rich. Anybody could see the job was sloppily done. I was dumbfounded at his statement. I won't be getting my nails done here anylonger. I would rather not come here anymore but my hairstylist is excellent.

I've been to this spa before for pedicures but wouldn't return. The atmosphere there is not friendly. Staff barely acknowledges your presence & is more interested in talking to each other than to clients. My pedicure was sloppy (upon closer inspection at home). The pedicurist was lacking in skill, experience & training. To ask someone to spend $47 for her level of skill is insulting. My granddaughters could have done better. Management should realize that customer service is their primry concern. If clients don't go home happy they might as well close up shop.

I took my mom here for her bday, I thought we can both get nice manicures...yeah right I think I can almost do a better job myself. The desk personal was great but the 2 manicurist were horrible. You would think that their eyes were closed when they worked on both me and my mom. They were both very unpleasant as well. The place it self was beautiful. I will never go there again.

I have been a long time patron of AJ Spa Millennium and have tried a little of everything and have never been disappointed. I find the service to be impeccable each time I visit. They have so much to offer, it's like a one-stop-shop. The friendly staff makes you feel special as soon as you walk in and are ready to cater to your needs. The atmosphere is very clean, warm, and tranquil and instantly put you at ease. Whether it's the exceptional service you receive, pleasant aroma of an array of scents, or the soothing music you hear, you'll definitely feel a sense of calm and eagerness to come back. If you haven't tried this spa you are truly missing out on a big treat. Believe me you won't be disappointed!

I was very disappointed with my recent spa experience. The place was Dirty, Dirty, Dirty!! The foot soaker did not work, was dirty, and the water was cold. The towels and robes were stained and fraying. My body scrub and massage was a joke. The equipment and products used were old cheap cramp. When I left, I felt like I got robbed. I would Never go back and would never recommend this spa. I surpirsed the State has not closed them down yet, seriously.

These people who wrote the good reviews must be the owners. You will pay alot of money for a big disappointment. They don't even have pedicure chairs, you soak in a cheap foot massager and the water is never changed. One thing if you want fast, it won't take over 10 minutes, but don't expect much, you could wash your feet in your own tub alot better. The $54 facial lasted a whole 15 minutes and all she did was rub lotion on my face and never wiped any of it off. Plan on spending 2 hours for the 10 minute pedicure and 15 minute facial. Did I mention dirty, it was really bad. Yellow sheets and towels and the robes were frayed and stained. Nasty.

The spa is extraordinary, I found them on the internet and they advertised Brazilian waxing in and out in 15 minutes. At first I didn't believe it so I tried it out. Not only was she fast but very, very, efficient. The staff is very professional and they always get you in for your service in a timely fashion. This is the only spa that I have found that respects your time and your spa experience. I started going there just for the Brazilian waxes but now I go there for all of my spa services. Great place to experience!!!

this place was a nightmare. the moment we walked in we were told "YOU ARE LATE!!!" we were 4 minutes late due to a traffic accident on the highway. when we finally were "shuttled" back to our services we sat and listened to the staff talk about eachother and their drama for an hour. I had 5 different people swap in and out to complete my pedicure and when I said something the manager told me "too bad. you should have stopped them halfway through your manicure and told them to stop". do me a favor and dont go here... they couldnt pay ME to go back!!!

I recently took my mother-in-law here for a facial and pedicure. It was my first time here, and I was looking forward to a relaxing afternoon. We were on time for our appointment, but were told that we had arrived at the wrong time, despite the email confirmation that I had confirming my appointment time. The receptionist brought over her supervisor who coldly insisted that I was incorrect, and acted as though we were an enormous inconvenience. She humiliated me in front of my mother-in-law and ruined what should have been a relaxing experience. The only highlight was the two lovely girls who did our pedicures. They were cheerful and did an excellent job. But, I would still never return after being treated so discourteously.

This Day Spa is wonderful! The service is excellent, some of the best in the business. They offer all types of services from massage (my favorite) and facials. They also do manni's and pedi's... which are the best. I also got permanent cosmetics (eyeliner) and I absolutely LOVE IT!!! You must visit this spa!
