About Amadeus Spa
Taking some style cues from Italian villas, The Amadeus Spa uses marble, limestone, and greenery in its decor. The 11,000-square-foot spa, renovated in late 2007, has 24 treatment rooms; various treatment, service, and rest areas; steam and locker rooms; a private hydrotherapy treatment room; a retail shop; and a coffee/cappuccino area. Treatments include massage, facials, Vichy shower treatments, hair and nail services, and bronzing. The spa also hosts bridal events, corporate incentive programs, birthday parties, mother/daughter days, and more. Multiple languages are spoken (French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, and Russian), and the spa prides itself on a belief "in a passionate dedication to service excellence."Location

Inexperienced & Lack of Quality - 1 hr Facial was really a 20 minute oneBy spagoer2 | October 6, 2010

I scheduled a one hour facial, but the service was really a 20 minute facial because the esthetician left me alone in the room for 25 minutes. She did one round of regular cleaning, one toning, and then put on a light mask (I don't even know if anything was put on my face) which took all of 15 minutes. Then she left the room (supposedly for the mask to "work".) I lay on the table for a very long time thinking about how expensive the treatment was. I could have easily done this myself at home. I regualarly have facials done and know that estheticians cleanse more than once, use a number of different products, use a range of facial techniques, and never leave the client alone. I thought the service came with a shoulder massage, but she barely rubbed my neck area for 3 minutes. When I asked her (an Asian esthecian) questions about the products they sold, she didn't know the answer and had to check with her manager. She was inexperienced, the facial was the worst ever, and the price was not worth the quality of service (which was obviously lacking). I do not recommend Amadeus spa to my friends and will not go back.

I have been going every month to this spa for an oxygen facial. The service is great and they do such a great job! I rate this facial very highly. they have the best t technicians there! They take the time to make you feel at home. It is a very comfortable place with such excellent service!
I use to go to Beverly hill for facials since 1986. This past year I have been going to this spa and I am very happy. I found a new home in beauty!

too much going onBy AmyF | November 21, 2009

Amadeus has a lot of services that are offered, but there is too much going on. I got a massage there and was looking for a calm and soothing environment. Unfortunately, I did not receive either. You could hear voices and blow dryers from the massage room. Although the spa is large, everything sits on top of each other which makes the place seem chaotic. The massage that I received was not great. I was looking for a good deep tissue massage. The therapist used too much pressure that it was impossible to breathe. I felt like I was suffocating and it was extremely difficult to tell her anything because I wasn't able to take a breath in without almost choking.
