I had waxing done by the owner, she badly burned my skin, I later blistered and had to go to doctors. He said I had 2nd degree burns! I mentioned it to the owner, she totally blew me off and went so far as calling me a wimp.
I also had to listen to her complain about her employees, so it was not very relaxing spa treatment.
I never went back.

My husband and I just finished our couple's massage with Susan and Liz at Glenda's Day Spa. What a relaxing and enjoyable experience we had. This was a gift to my husband for Valentine's Day and he thoroughly loved it. The staff is so pleasant and attentative. I go to Terry for waxing and she is simply wonderful. I will definitely be going back to the ladies at Glenda's!!

I recently went to Glenda's Day Spa for a facial (I used a Spa Finder Gift Card). Willow did my facial; she was knowledgeable and very good! I felt so pampered and enjoyed the home-like atmosphere that Glenda's has (it's in an old Victorian-style Bel Air house). Thank you for the wonderful service; I look forward to returning!

I moved to Bel Air about 2 years ago and have now just started to frequent the local day spas. I decided to have a hot stone massage at Glenda's. Upon first glance, the facility is small, I believe one bathroom and maybe 2-3 treatment rooms. At the end of the day, it's about the cleanliness and service.
Glenda's is very personable, professional, clean and soothing. If you are looking for a wonderful massage/treatment in a much smaller, intimate setting, then Glenda's is for you!

I was researching day spa,s in the Bel Air area to give my wife a gift. I wanted my wife to go to a real day spa not a hair salon that offers spa services. I was exceedingly impressed with the time that the staff took with me to explain their services and what may be the most suitable services for my wife. I was looking for a day spa that understood the importance of wellness verses just relaxation. I found that with Glenda's Day Spa. This spa has it all. Tranquil atmosphere, friendly staff, knowledgeable therapists, and quality services. My wife and I visit on a regular basis so that we can indulge in a lifestyle of wellness. I would reccomend this spa to my family and friends.

I called Glenda's Day Spa to ask about current specials. They told me I could not use current specials because I had a spafinder gift card. This was a 100.00 card given to me by my husband as a gift. He did not pay a discounted fee.I did not understand wht I wasn't allowed to use their specials. They told me it was alredy discounted. the only person discounted was me. The person on the phone told me that I would get a call back from the manager and no phone call was recieved. I decided to go elsewhere.

As manager of Glenda's Day Spa I felt compelled to respond to this review. First of all this client spoke to me regarding our policies with Spa Finder. All calls are returned to clients and a returned call to her was made, that is why she knew all about our policies and decided to give Glenda's a bad review because she did not like our policies. We explain to all clients that our policies are not any different then any other retail merchant. Coupons and gift cards of any sort have policies in place that do not allow more then one coupon at a time or special offers at any one time to be combined . This client was unable to understand that our discounted specials could not be combined with any other discounted payments. Spa Finder is a discounted payment to the spa. If a client chooses to use their Spa Finder gift card at our day spa we apply the full amount of their gift to our retail prices. I hope this helps in understanding that this clients review was more about her own frustrated limitations with her form of payment regarding our policies. Wow, while visiting a friend in the Abingdon MD she took me to Glenda's Day Spa! I wish I lived closer because I would be there at least once a month for a facial. The owner, Glenda, gave me the most relaxing and rejuvinating facial that I've ever had. She also took the time to discuss my skin with me and answer any questions that I had. I also chose to have the lavender salt scrub and my skin felt so soft and velvety afterwards. I truly enjoyed my experience here and will make an appointment again to try more services when I'm back in the area, they have a wonderful selection of services and Glenda seemed to have so much knowledge on skin treatments...etc. The staff was warm, friendly and accomodating and the atmosphere is well just beautiful they even offered me a cup of warm herbal tea while I was waiting. A lovely victorian atmosphere I would suggest this spa to anyone in the area.

I have rosacea and have a difficult time finding an esthetician who can provide the services I need to keep my skin calm. I have had several facials by Glenda and they have all been excellent. I love the products, the essential herbs in the products are wonderful and at 52 years old I am washing my face twice a day for the first time in my life. (I love the smell of the products). I have found a little difficulty getting the correct product to replace one I have used up-it should be on record what product I am using. However, I can work with that and make my own list of the products I need.
I had one spa treatment involving a lavender tub soak, a rain drop massage by Kathy followed-up by a facial by Glenda. That will be my special treat periodically. It was a wonderful spa combination.
I have been having facials and massages for 25 years, and recently changed to Glendas (La Papillon in Timonium changed owners and the service left a lot to be desired)
I am very happy with Glenda's day spa and would recommend it to anyone.
