    Scottsdale's historic JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa sits on 125 acres at the foothills of Mummy Mountain, overlooking Camelback Mountain. The AAA five-diamond Inn, a historic fixture in Paradise Valley since its opening in 1936, exudes sophistication fused with Southwestern flair in its desert setting, a quality that has helped the resort maintain its AAA Diamond status for more than 30 consecutive years. The Inn also ranked 34th on Condé Nast's 'Top 50 U.S. Resort Spas' list for 2010.

    There are 453 casita-style guest accommodations with balconies, and in some cases, private pools overlooking the vast Sonoran Desert. Tennis and golf are major draws here—there are two championship courses on-site, and leisure activities include two swimming pools and the 32,000-square-foot Spa at Camelback Inn. Flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space comprises 45,000 square feet.

The hacienda-style Spa at Camelback Inn, presiding over 32,000 square feet, has 32 treatment rooms and welcomes guests with solariums, relaxation lounges, an outdoor lap pool, and whirlpools. Additional spa amenities include separate men's and women's locker areas with showers; the men's spa also includes a cold plunge. In the graciously appointed treatment rooms, select spa services like the desert Nectar Honey Wrap incorporate indigenous ingredients. A full range of massage therapies are offered: Swedish, aromatherapy, Thai, shiatsu, Native Hot Stone, and the Camelback Signature Massage. The spa provides a wide array of facial therapies, and hair and nail care is offered at the salon.

Before or after treatments, guests are invited to use the Turkish steam room or Finnish saunas, or indulge in dishes from the "heart-healthy" menu at the spa's Sprouts restaurant. Spa guests may also use the fitness center. Classes are offered in cardio power, body sculpt, core rhythms, Zumba, and Pilates; personal trainers are also on hand.

I have been fortunate enough to spend a wonderful solitary 5 day vacation at the Marriott Camelback Spa and Resort. Everything about this place was peaceful and relaxing. I also went back with my husband for our honeymoon and had a fantastic few days of treatments, hikes and quiet togetherness..

I visited the JW Marriott Camelback Spa last year and have dreamed of my next visit ever since! I live out of state but visit about once a year. I am making this a part of our visit every year. The service is outstanding with very friendly (not snooty or stuffy) staff. They have a wonderful stream room with the most amazing and relaxing shower IN it for rinsing and whatnot. Ahhhh. The services are great, they listen and make it as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. The food and drinks from the Sprouts Cafe are among the best I've ever had! Every part of this Spa is well worth the money spent! I can hardly wait until next week to lay by the pool and be pampered! :)

This spa is beautiful - they have a wonderful eucalyptus steam room, an outside sanctuary, whirlpool, sauna and more. I had a salt scrub, which moisturized my skin and put me in a relaxed mood for the rest of the day. Their refreshments were great - loose leaf tea and fruit infused water. Perfect considering the Arizona heat! I have been here three times and love coming back!

My friend and I visited this spa while on vacation at a nearby resort. We had hot-stone massages and both had great massages and therapists. Afterwards, they let us lounge at the pool, it was wonderful! We had a great afternoon.

Loved, loved loved it! I have a wonderful facial. The people there talked to me about my skin and made sure there was nothing in the products that I was allergic to. The gym was nice, and had I realized there was a pool, I would have brought a bathing suit. I could have spent all day there. The products were wonderful, the staff helpful and knowledgable. The spa was clean, and relaxing. A wonderful experience. Can't wait to go back!

This spa was absolutely amazing from the moment we walked in the door! The lush robes they have you wear, the very kind and professional staff and the amazing treatments make you feel like a queen! I had a 60 minute massage, which ended way to soon! I was sweapt away with the comfy bed, music and aroma therapy. It was heaven. I then enjoyed a facial with hot stones. It was my first facial, and I loved it! The hot stones were incredible and I felt so refreshed. We then enjoyed a snack and beverage while laying by the pool. It was a wonderful day and experience. I would go back there everyday if I could!!
