this was my first visit.. So far my toenails look great. My technician was running late..I was little surprised how it was handled. I thought they would give me some kind of compensation to come back..Since this was my first visit. However, nothing was said again even though i waited 30 minutes. The check out gals were great.. I am a aveda user and they were able to give me samples of the new hair care product.. That is actually how i started using most of their products.. I was little surprised that they did not ask me what hair products I use. I just moved to KY and I am actually getting my hair cut at another aveda salon across town. I was given the gift card by mom for Josephs by my mom..

Joseph's Salon and Spa is the best salon/spa in the Louisville area. Many of their nail technicians are superb. I've had the Shellac no-chip manicure done at several places but no one does it better than Joseph's. Specifically, Liz and Kelly, are the best! It is pretty pricey for a manicure but you definitely get quality for the price.

I have been there three times so far. Each time for a massage. Every time I love it more and more. Try the hot stone massage! Karen and Casey are WONDERFUL! :) The staff there is very friendly and extremely helpful. I love going there and can't see myself going anywhere else. Way to go!!

I visit this spa monthly. I use to go to a spa in this area named with one letter and after those experiences Joseph's showed me what a REAL spa experience was suppose to be like. I've been going there for about 5 or 6 years now and the quality and service is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the owner a perfect host. I recommend it to ALL who want to bask in relaxation.

I really liked going to Joseph's. Karen gives great haircuits! But I stopped going because the colorists aren't consistent. Each time I went, I had a different colorist. Some are better than others. Each one is different in their highlighting. Everytime I left with my hair looking different because some weave with finer pieces, which I like, and some with chunkier. Some are more gentle on your head than others. It's really important to me that my hair is consistent. I'd return for a cut or style, but not for color services right now.

Joseph's is by far the most client oriented salon I have ever been to. They stay well educated and current on trends. They also offer a wonderful service called a No-Chip Manicure. It is a wonderful manicure that lasts 2-3 weeks with no chipping! The wear and shine is incredible. It also protects the nails so while you have it on your nails they feel harder, and don't split. It's made for natural nails, so there is no harsh filing on the fingernail. My nails were in great shape when I had the polish removed! They were not weak or anything. My nails were in the same healthy shape as when I started. They offer the latest hair fashions, massages, facials, and the best manicures and pedicures I have ever had! I would highly recommend this salon/spa to anyone and everyone! My services there honestly could not get any better! Tabitha gave me the BEST manicure and pedicure I have ever had in my life! I refer all my friends to her, and to the salon! I also get my color, highlights, and haircuts there and they are by far the best I have ever had. Shawn does an excellent job with my short hair, and Juliet always seems to color it perfect everytime. All the staff constantly participate in classes to further their educations, they are just always so knowledgeable about everything. They really know there stuff! I love the entire Aveda product line. My skin has never looked better, and my hair has never been healthier. Thanks Joseph's for all you hard work! Keep up the excellence!

My boyfriend & I went for a couples massage. It was THE BEST we have ever had!! The staff were very friendly!! I didn't want to leave!! As soon as we walked in the door we were given plush robes and slippers, a tour of the spa, then an aromatherapy foot bath and foot massage THEN we went into the actual room where the massage took place!! Which was phenomenal - Joseph's staff are highly skilled. If you are EVER in Louisville, KY - take the time to check out Joseph's. You will leave relaxed and refreshed.

I have been a customer of Joseph's Salon and Spa for over 2 years now. Although I started going for the manicures (Melissa has been my main manicurist from the beginning), I then found myself getting the pedicures, and for my birthday in 2007, I decided to really treat myself and had the salt glow, the one hour massage, and finished it off with a signature manicure and pedicure. On occasion, I have also had a shampoo and set when I was unable to get into my regular hairdresser. But each experience, no matter how basic or how complex, has been outstanding and while professional, friendly and welcoming. It starts from the moment you are greeted at the reception desk. Even if you are simply having a manicure, you are offered a drink (during the holidays, this may include a Champagne Mimosa), and are promptly taken back for your service. (In all my visits, I have have only had one appointment that was going to be delayed by over 30 minutes; due to other scheduling I couldn't wait, but the salon apologized by giving me my next manicure for free). Although the atmosphere is busy, once you are taken back to the manicure or pedicure area, or into one of the quiet rooms for a manicure, all of Louisville disappears, and for a little, time slows down and you can relax. I also love that they are not one of the snooty spas. No matter if you are a doctor, lawyer or a typical working girl, everyone is treated with respect and courtesy and you can't wait for your next visit. I hope to remain a customer for some time to come!

Joseph's location is convenient to most of Metro Louisville. My wife and I both go there due to the exceptional quality of their hair stylists. However, they have many more spa-related options available. Make sure you book early, since this is a very popular place.

From start to finish the experience at Joseph's was wonderful. My daughter and I spent the entire day at Joseph's for a birthday celebration. The staff confirmed our appointment twice before we arrived and everyone was so nice and pleasant during the entire day, the customer service is top notch!!
