Opened in 1997, The Body Suite Day Spa is a boutique day spa located on Monterey Peninsula's Recreation Trail. Clients may enjoy views of Monterey Bay and sometimes catch glimpses of sea life such as otters, sea lions, dolphins, and even whales. The 1,600-square-foot day spa has six treatment rooms each with a unique theme; the Safari room inspired by the colors of the Serengeti, the Asian-inspired Zen Room, the underwater atmosphere of the Marine Room, and the Footprints Room with views of the trail. Customized services include massage, wraps, scrubs, facials, skin care, lash extensions, and lash and brow tinting. Couple's services and packages are available and the spa hosts events like bachelorette parties, social networking gatherings, and bridal parties.Location

An entirely great experience! Very welcoming, nice, owner who took time to explain available options, listen to my interests, make recommendations without pushing anything.
Great location and very good atmosphere with reasonable prices. Wide selection of services and great flexibility to build a custom package. Therapist was very nice and tailored a great very firm massage for me based a comprehensive but brief discussion of what I wanted and the stresses I was dealing with. Service was on par with the best, most upscale spas I've visited.
It would have been perfect if they had a locker room/lounge area with robes and slippers along with showers, sauna's jacuzzi. If they had that like I've enjoyed at some larger scale resort spas, I would have checked 5 stars.
No complaint at all and I plan to return and ask for the same therapist (Mika). I felt very welcome and left completely relaxed. Strongly recommend for a great experience in a great location run by super people. Thanks.

I was given the gift of Prenatal Massage and a Facial for my birthday, and found the Body Suite to be extremely serene. The location right next to the Monterey Bay was a welcome respite, and the ladies there were very accommodating to the needs of my pregnant body. The gentle conversation and mellow atmosphere made good for a much-needed break from the older kids. The decor was impressive and there were delicious surprises in every nook. I will definitely be back for more!
