About Lakeside Day Spa
Lakeside Day Spa at Middlefield’s goal is to pamper the mind, body and spirit of its clients in a waterfront environment conducive with wellness and relaxation. The spa is housed in a “French country cottage” constructed in 1995 with views of Lake Beseck in Middlefield, Connecticut. Traditional massage therapies are offered, ranging from relaxation massage to hot stone massage, and each treatment is customized to meet the needs of the client. The spa is available for private rentals as well, which can accommodate meetings or gatherings of up to 40 guests.Location

For Mother's Day I treated my mom and myself to facials. Greeted with a cup of herbal tea and yogurt with fruit then for our facials. No rush , beautiful scenery, relaxing --- everything we need and wanted for experience. Strongly recommended!

had a great Massage with Molly on my birthday weekend. It was relaxing--just what I needed. The tea and yogurt were a wonderful beginning to the wonderful day. Can't wait to go back. One of the best experiences ever. Will definitely make use of the deck next time to enjoy the sun after my massage.

We went for a couples massage today and had a truly amazing experience. The atmosphere is perfect and we were pampered right from the start with organic treats and tea. Our massage therapists, Harmony and Liz, were both very skilled, professional and attentive to our individual needs. We did not feel rushed at all in this extremely relaxing environment. We would definitely recommend Lakeside Day Spa to others and will go back again. If you haven't been there yet, book a massage now! You deserve this!!

I'm absolutely delighted that I chose the Lakeside Spa to redeem my SpaFinder gift certificate. It's everything a day spa should be -- welcoming, serene and immaculate. Lovely surroundings and wonderful personal touches, such as the heavenly cup of chocolate tea they gave me upon arrival, enhanced my de-stressing experience. My massage therapist, Harmony, was excellent. Highly recommend and look forward to returning.

This was only my second massage I've had, but it was amazing! Lakeside Spa is located in a converted house right on a lake with huge windows and a deck available for clients to enjoy on nice days. On arrival, I was instantly greeted by name and shown around. I was taken into the relaxation room in the rear of the house and offered chocolates and tea. It is evident the effort put into providing an overall relaxing experience from the moment you arrive. Then I was taken upstairs to the massage room where I enjoyed my one hour Sweedish massage. The workers were extremely nice and professional. I am looking forward to bringing my bridesmaids to Lakeside Spa in the future for a 3 hour package where we will get the entire spa to ourselves. The prices are reasonable. The only downfall is there is limited parking since it is a driveway that was for a house. If you will be going to the spa with a group I would suggest carpooling if possible. A great experience and I am looking forward to going back!

For the Christmas Holiday I treated my mom and I to a "Your Day" spa special and can I say, what a treat! The spa is nestled in a quaint area in front of Lake Beseck. As we entered the spa (which reminds you a French cottage) there was an instant feeling of relaxation. Jeff and his sister met us at the door and guided us through the gift shop where we were able to view their exclusive jewelry collection from a boutique in New York. We were seated in the waiting area where we listened to soft music and enjoyed an excellent view of the lake. While waiting for our messages we were given freshly baked cookies and ginger/almond tea. What a delightful combination! Soon we were greeted by the message therapists who were very friendly and made us feel at ease. Our messages were the best and both of our therapists were very in tuned to our bodies. At the end of the message we enjoyed a meal prepared by a local Middletown Restaurant that was waiting for us upon completion of our messages. Overall this was the best spa experience!

I had a deep tissue massage prior to the Spa opening. WOW! This place is in a beautiful setting with great views of the Lake.
You feel your anxiety level go down from the moment you enter. They served Coconut Ginger Tea and hot chocolate cookies that had just been baked.
The treatment rooms are very relaxing with soft candlelight and my therapist was really exceptional.
