About Beau-Rivage Palace
Beau-Rivage Palace was initially built in 1861 and has preserved its original, opulent belle epoque aesthetic throughout the centuries. The palatial architecture combines Italian Renaissance influences with turn-of-the-century baroque touches, which were added when an extension was built to the original palace in 1908. A member of The Leading Hotels of the World, the property also boasts stunning natural sights due to its lakeside location; panoramic views of Lake Geneva and the majestic Alps can be viewed from Beau-Rivage's many balconies and verandas. The hotel is surrounded by 10 acres of private, picturesque gardens, where ambling guests encounter cedar trees, begonias, and an array of outdoor sculptures.
In the 19th century, Beau-Rivage served as a getaway for the European aristocracy and captains of industry, and that emphasis on glamour and formal luxury remains. Between the three world-class restaurants, state-of-the-art fitness center, and the elegantly designed, wellness-oriented Cinq Mondes Spa Paris, the property provides a fully integrated five-star experience. The world's oldest school of hotel management is in the town of Lausanne, and many of its graduates work at Beau-Rivage. The staff excels at providing children and teenagers with age-appropriate activities.

Opened in November 2005, Cinq Mondes Spa is designed to stimulate all five senses with aromatherapy, soothing spa music, a selection of teas from around the world, and a modern Zen-inspired spa design. Large bay windows fill the 1,500-square-meter facility with natural illumination, augmenting the spa's brightly colored decor and generously proportioned treatment areas. Cinq Mondes has nine treatment rooms, a VIP suite, a Tropical Shower Promenade, and a relaxation room with sweeping lake and mountain views, as well as indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
The treatment menu features a varied selection of signature Rituals that combine rejuvenating treatments into holistic experiences that range in duration from 90 minutes to more than four hours. The Signature Ritual begins with an aromatherapy and rose-petal bath, followed by a scrub with puree of papaya, and a choice of Balinese or Ayurvedic massage. Guests may also take advantage of the hammam (traditional Turkish bath), which houses aromatherapy and chromatherapy steam treatments. Spa treatments incorporate exclusive Cinq Mondes products.
The 80-square-meter fitness center offers Power Plate equipment as well as a spacious stretching area. Highly experienced personal trainers are on hand.

Rooms & Dining
Beau-Rivage Palace offers 168 guest rooms and suites, each decorated in its own elegant style. Rooms have luxury amenities such as private balconies, whirlpools, satellite televisions, and wireless internet access. Rooms range from the 300-square-foot (27 square meters) Comfort Rooms, which overlook the gardens, to the 350-square-foot, lakefront Superior Rooms and Junior Suites. Seven ultra-luxurious Suites are also available in either classically elegant or contemporary styles.
Four gourmet eateries offer fine dining in elegant surroundings. Anne-Sophie Pic au Beau-Rivage Palace, in association with the only French female chef to hold the Michelin Guide's coveted three-star rating, is located in a park, providing stunning views and seasonal terrace dining. Cafe Beau-Rivage is a brasserie-style luxury restaurant with a live pianist and a spacious lakefront terrace. The Cafe serves meat and poultry from France and Switzerland as well as seafood options such as gratinated oysters with white leeks. The wine cellar at Beau-Rivage houses approximately 75,000 bottles, including an extensive selection of Bordeaux vintages. Spa meals can be enjoyed outdoors in summer or indoors for the remainder of the year; the menu incorporates salad, seafood, and light meat dishes. The refined and stylish sushi restaurant Miyako Lausanne offers sushi prepared on the spot. O-Terrasse, open during the summer, serves international fare. Bar selections include the contemporary Lobby Lounge, and BaR, which provides a relaxed atmosphere with live music each evening. L'Accademia, located in the resort's adjacent sister property, Angleterre & Residence, offers fine Italian cuisine and boasts an exquisite terrace.
