While staying in South Beach, I visited the IGM Day Spa-it was a short walk from my hotel on Collins Ave. I enjoyed my experience-it was fun, and different. I got a Brazilian wax and a mani-pedi, the normal part of my visit. What was interesting was the atmosphere. It's kinda cluttered, but fun cluttered? I wouldn't say it's like a "voodoo" lounge, just decorated in an interesting manner. I've never gone to a spa like it.

I visit Last month this little place that must be hiding from me ,because I live here and never saw it before. But I'm glad I found IGM DAY SPA. I been on other Places that been way more expensive and at the end walk unhappy with the service. Ingrid work wonders with my face. She suggest me to try the New Ultrasonic Anti-Aging with Stem cell Serum. and I'm glad I when for it. It is amazing how my skin look after only one treatment. The place is quiet and very clean atmosphere . I can wait for my next treatment .

I had a spafinder gift certificate and was planning on a makeover. Well, I'm thrilled with my new look. Besides my new haircut, Ingrid did the Brazilian Keratin treatment. What a difference! No more frizz, just shiny straight hair. She worked a miracle with my "bed-head". My french mani-pedi still looks fresh almost two weeks later, I'm so glad that I opted for the deep tissue massage. Ooohhhhhh-heaven! Her hands were like something I've never had. She worked majic over my knots. I was like jelly for the rest of the day! This was a great experience. I look forward to returning soon.

I must first start off by saying that the staff of two, was very friendly. But this place was weird and grimey. I wouldn't call it a spa by any means. When I first walked in the first thing I could think was, "should I just turn around and walk out?!!!" The place was nothing like any day spa I've ever been to. As soon as you walk in the place is cluttered with things. I felt like I was in a voodoo shop in New Orleans. Looks like they furnished the spa with items from the flea market that absolutely no one would buy and so they were able to get it at a extremely low price. The staff of two does it all. Ingrid, the owner, does the facials, hair, manis and pedis. And her mother who was helping her, her much older mother, does the massages, pedicures, and cuts hair, I'm not sure if she's even liscenced to do any of it. It's great that they have so much experience, but it shows the level of quality of the salon. The small staff could make it an intimate place but it's completely opposite. You can't relax in the place cause of all the clutter, you can hear noise from the business next door, and you can hear the spa phone ringing. I'm not even sure how some of the previous reviewers claim that they had their wedding parties/bachlorette parties there because the place is way too small to fit more than two or three people, plus with a staff of two doing it all, how can they handle a large group of people?!!!! The place itself, on a scale of 1 to 5 stars, is a half star. The staff is super nice, super friendly, and the menu of options is expansive, but the spa is something that you would find located in a 1 star hotel in a 3rd world country. I'm not sure how it is allowed to be posted on this website. The service was great but as a whole, especially since you are looking to relax and the environment doesn't really allow you to do that, it was not worth the price by any means. I'm sure you could find an upscale salon to visit for the same price or less. I don't wanna be harsh but I want to make sure I paint a realistic picture of the experience there so that no one is mislead by the website that they had or by the other reviews posted on here. If you're thinking about visiting this "spa," I'd definitely visit it before I would make an appointment. I'll make sure to do that in the future. Never thought I'd ever walk into a place like IGM or that one would even be listed on spafinder. I've learned my lesson.

Fantastic massage with Ingrid. I was treated like a special guest, she really knows what to do. She works out the pain in my shoulders. Next time I want to try the hot stone massage. Great facial, hydrating, and includes extractions, and hot towel application. I see the difference. The manicure and pedicure was very good. She pampered my feet with exfoliation, warm towel, shaping, and polish. I highly recomend it. Friendly and professional staff, very nice environment. I suggest you buy a gift package from the many different services they offer.

This past month we visit IGM DAY SPA and we had a great time from the minute we enter to the Spa. We had our hair blw dry, brazilian waxing, massage and mani-and pedi, is vey nice to go to a place that they can take cae of you so nice We were 6 girls that want to relax and forget about our stressfull jobs. All service were squedule one after another without problem. their Reg. Pedicure is done like Spa pedicure in other places (hot towel, scrbus and a very relaxing foot massage,) is obious that massage is the strong plate. Ingrid gave me the best DEEPPP TISSUE MASSAGE .

The past month me and my friends dicied to espend my last hours as a single women at the spa and we make the appoitment at IGM DAY SPA I can say that was a very good choice the help me from the the day that i call for the appoitment until the day that we got there. even with fitting in my friends that the last minute decided to come in every body was taking care in lest than 3 HRS. we were 9 women with a lot of tide shoulder and stress. and was no problem for them having as all at once. This was great after all the stress that i had for the wedding. to all their staff I thank you for a the nice time that we had.

LAST WEEK MY HOUSBAND BOUGHT A COUPLES PACK FOR MY BIRTHDAY. I CAN SAY THAT BEEN THE BEST PRESENT THAT HE HAD GIVE ME I GUEST HE NOTES HOW MUCH ESTRES I HAVE BETWEEN WORKING AND THE KIDS AND HIM. THIS PLACE IS VERY COSY AND THEY TREAT YOU LIKE YOU ARE ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT CLIENTS. THE OWNER WHEN FIEND OUT THAT WAS MY BIRTHDAY WHEN AND GOT ME A LITTLE CAKE WITH A COUPLES OF GLASSES OF WINE TO TOSS . THE MASSAGE WAS INCREDIBLE AND THE FACIAL REALLY FANTASTIC I CAN'T BELIVE THAT MY FACE WAS NOT LIKE RODOLF AFTER ALL THE EXTRACTION OF THE BLACK AND WHITE HEAD THA I HAD. AND WHAT ABOUT THE MANI AND PEDI IF THIS IS THEIR REGULAR MANI AND PEDI I CAN WAIT TO SEE WHAT THEY DO FOR THEIR SPA TREATMENT. MY HOUSBAND WAS KEEPING ASKING ME IF I GET THIS DONE EVERY TIME I GO TO DO MY NAILS AT THE OTHER PLAICES AND I SAY NO THEY ONLY PAINT MY NAILS AND IS SO FAST THAT TAKE MORE TIME WAITING THAT FOR THEIR SERVICE. A friend and I went to Miami for a long weekend. We wanted to have a spa day, and chose IGM based on the information we saw on SpaFinder. IGM is a hair salon where the back rooms have been converted into a "spa". So if ambiance is important to you, this is not the place to go. We were disappointed, but made the most of the experience. Having said that, I felt that the staff was very friendly and professional. However, if we had been provided with additional information (and better photos) this would not have been our first choice for a day of pampering.

This was the perfect gift that someone could give to any body that apreciated, this place was very nice and clean and all the staff make me feel like I been one of their more important client. The Champagne and rose pedicure was very relaxing specially the champagne that they offer me at the time of my pedicure a very nice toch. thanks Ingrid you really make me feel like a Queen with out spending a lot of money. This was the first time I had a pedicure this nice. Their pedicure station look very nice, cristal bowl will rose petal and esential oils a very relaxing set up.

This place was very misleading... between an excellent picture of a small, shopping-mall locale to an elegant website, my mother and I pictured a relaxing oasis for Mother's Day. When we arrived, it was nothing but a rectangular salon with the standard amenities: manicures and pedicures, hair styling, and a few rooms in the back for massages and scrubs. It was thoroughly disappointing. The pedicure chair was an ancient recliner with an even older, knitted blanket thrown on top. Instead of being gently guided from one service to another, we were shuffled around? my nails were hurriedly cut and filed while I waited for the masseur to get ready for me. The scrub was rubbed on by the manager, who did it as if she wanted to scour my skin off, rather than exfoliate it, communicating her need for me to turn around by slapping my sides, and then proceeded to wrap me in a smelly old knitted blanket. The manicurist did nothing but talk and complain, and never focused on her work, resulting in a very poor manicure. The towels were steaming hot and you soaked your nails in an old, scratched wooden bowl filled with pink dollar-store rocks. My mother and I spent over $300 for something that wasn't worth $100. If you'd like your run-of-the-mill manicure and pedicure, this isn't a bad place to go. But it's NOT a spa. *HOWEVER* it was all made better by the masseur. He was a quiet, gentle man, very respectful and pleasant. He had the hands of an angel, and my only regret was that I didn't purchase a longer massage. He was worth a lot more than the $90/hour massage. He's the reason I'm reviewing this spa with 4 stars for service quality and for staff expertise, and he's the only reason I'd ever return. I'd give 5 stars, but the rest of the experience was just too disappointing.

For Valentine my husband gave me a certificate for a A day of pampering at this Day Spa, first it look like another beauty salon nicely done but when Ingrid start my massage I was surprise that she had like magnet on her hand that were able to find every single node in my body that been hurting me for months, always when I go for massage if the therapist don't know me I have to keep telling them were to massage, but with Ingrid she know exactly what to do . For my facial Rania got every single black head that I had and to finish with an incredible massage that put me to sleep. For the pedicure, Cristo make me feel like a really royalty sitting in this pedicure station that I felt like a princess, she took care of the ingrown nail and callus that I had for months. Most definitely I be back to this place they all make you feel like a family and the atmosphere is very relaxing and peaceful.
