Kennedy Salon and Day Spa is dedicated to "providing the best day spa experience in Tampa Bay." The 3,000-square-foot spa has a cozy 1920's bungalow feel to it, with touches such as Motown music on the spa's lower level and local artwork adding to the spa's eclectic atmosphere. The spa also includes a full-service salon, a makeup area, pedicure and treatment rooms, and shower and locker facilities as well as a café where lunch is served. Services include massage, body treatments, facials, hair and nail services, and waxing services. The spa is active in the community and participates in charity events and programs for spa professionals as well. Spa parties with fruits, finger food, and champagne are also held at the spa.Location

It was my first time at the spa, and I just wanted a hair cut. The stylist, Nancy, was great. I didn't know exactly what I wanted but I told her the things I didn't like about my hair and we came up with something perfect for me based on that. Not only was the result one of the best haircuts I have ever had, she was really quick too!
I will definitely be returning.

I went to Kennedy Day Spa initially to get my hair highlighted and cut but while I was there I received a manicure as well and I have to say that both were stellar. My hair looked the best it has in years and the manicurist was very professional and great to talk with. My hair stylist was Stacy and she was very personable, on top of the fact that she does AWESOME work. She was also super fast, which is a plus for my busy schedule.
I can't review the more relaxing spa features such as massage, etc. but I can say that these two services are wonderful at Kennedy Day Spa!

Kennedy has alot of services they offer for a small place. The massage i had was different then other massages i have had, but i would say it was any better. I don't feel the therapist had good pressure or contact. She insisted on talking through out which for me is never a good thing. She utilized a wedge pillow that just seemed odd and uncomfortable for me.
However, they do have the best spray tan facility i have used. They are carefully airbrushed on and the tech is really professional and detailed. I have done this several times and the tan can last for up to a week.
I also had a pedicure here that was good. The polish lasted weeks longer then my typical visits to the oriental shops in the area do.
