Skin Thera P is a medical and cosmetic spa facility with a colorful and modern atmosphere located on Manhattan's Upper East Side. The spa specializes in skincare services and provides technologically advanced medical anti-aging therapies that are customized to the needs of each client. Skincare services aim to correct damage from the sun or chronological aging, restoring collagen and helping clients maintain a healthy skin appearance. A comprehensive selection of facials and peels incorporating product lines such as SkinMedica, Obagi, and Neocutis are also available.
From a vision of a spa enhanced by the benefits of combining medicine and science, only offering treatments he whole-heartedly believed in, Dr. William Greenberg, the founder and medical director of Skin Thera P, opened Skin Thera P, where he offers complimentary consultations to determine what treatments would work best in order to achieve a revitalized and youthful appearance. Dedicated to helping patients discover that they no longer have to live with bothersome imperfections brought on by aging, Dr. Greenberg has made his services even more available by opening a new location in Scarsdale.

After years of teenage acne, my skin was less then impressive. I had hyperpigmentation, scarring, and it just looked worn! I've tried all the products and creams in the world and nothing made any difference. Desperate, I search google and found Skin Thera P and met with esthetician Angel. She consulted with me in regards to the different options I had and what I could expect. I decided to with the medical grade peels and after just 2 peels my scarring faded substantially. I can't describe how good it feels to actual see improvement instead of consistently being let down.

And I mean that sincerely. Dr. Greenberg is impressive, absolutely. (he could be a little more warm and fuzzy, but that's just me) What's unfortunate, almost tragic, because it's so obvious! Skin Thera P provides all the services one might expect at a high end medial spa, however, the atmosphere is almost hard to believe!! It's loud, bright, has the feel of a studio apartment, and it lacks the feeling essential to the "spa" experience...nurturing!
The minute I walked in the door the sales pressure was insane. Refer a friend, join our email list, combine this service for this discount, this package saves you x, and then the products.
It pissed me off.
I won't go back.

Last week I came to Skin Thera P Medical spa for a complimentary consultation to find out how I could improve my skin and look younger. I met with Dr Greenberg and he was fabulous. He told me about a new treatment called Ultherapy that is a non invasive facelift and could take years off of my skin with out and surgery. It uses ultrasound to see below the skins tissue and targets the collagen where a facelift does as well. It had an immediate tightening right aftrer the porcedure and than the results keep getting better. My eyes are tighter and my eye brows are lifted and look more youthful. I also had my neck done and it looks tighter and lifted and i seriously look ten years younger. I am extrememly happy and would recomend Dr Greenberg and Skin Therap to anyone looking for noninvasive ways to look younger. ***** stars!!!!

Don't bother! What a sh_t show this place is. When there are numerous med-spas especially in the UES where prices are competitive, why go where staff is completely incompetent and utterly unprofessional. You won't get a "spa feeling" as the Aesthetician rocks out to her favorite rock music and blah blah blahs you right out of ANY relaxation you could hope for with your skin treatment. Then after you leave the rooms un-relaxed, you'll have to deal with Rose, the undereducated 'manager' who yells across the lobby, makes inappropriate conversation, and cops attitude at whim on customers. It's all amusing if you wanted to go to the people circus but as for a high end, relaxing spa experiencing, don't waste your time or money! Also, don't order product from this place online. They are great at taking your money and never getting their act together to send the product you paid for out until you file a claim and force them to. This business establishment is a mess!!!!!

Skin Thera P has 2 AMAZING estheticians (very much so recommended) but their new receptionist is pushy, rude, and lies about her product knowledge. I went in for a facial..which was great until I was bombarded with products by the receptionist told blatant lies about what the products could do. LOVE THE SPA! But the front desk service is awful and I wont be going back until she no longer works there.

I was just at Skin Thera P Medical Spa last Tuesday and I cant stop raving about it! The women at the front desk was so funny and friendly. She got me some water and we chatted for about 15 minutes. When my facialist arrived, she escorted me into her clean, lovely scented room where she gave me my facial. The facial was PERFECT!. My skin looked flawless after the facial and I walked home with my skin literally glowing. Everyone was very courteous, even the doctor was very personable and helpful. Everyone was so friendly and the prices you cant beat!. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this spa!

FANTASTIC MEDICAL SPA!! I have been to many different spa, medical spa's and from the moment i walked in the door I never felt more catered too and spoiled... The doctor was incredibly personable and informative and the rest of the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly.. Other medical spa's i feel tend to be too uptight and this place just made me feel like they were there for me and helped picked out the proper treatments for my skin type..i went in for a free skin scan and ended up knowing so much about my skin. If you want to learn about skin and receive amazing service I would recommend Skin Thera P.

Skin Thera P is the best spa I have ever been too! (and I've been to a lot of spa's) The staff was great, funny, personable, & so knowledgeable!! I got a FREE skin scan and consultation to see what would be best for my skin. The doctor knew exactly what to use for my skin. The prices are very reasonable and the location is great. I go back at least once a month. The facials are amazing and their laser hair removal actually works! Every time I go there I feel like they erased 5yrs off my skin. It is absolutely worth trying at least once! I would recommend this spa to anyone!!

I went to this cozy, boutique Medical Spa on the Upper East Side and was very impressed with how much time I got to spend consulting with Dr Greenberg. Often at Medical Spas, you don't get any time with a Doctor and sometimes it is an RN or esthetician that performs the procedures and injectibles. I felt very reassured that I was getting the best results since he took time to explain the technology to me and he performed the Laser Hair Removal as well. It wasn't too painful either. I like the modern and sophisticated decor. The office staff is very knowledgeable about all their offereings as well. They make the experience fun as well. I'm looking for an excuse to come back here. Don't be putt off by the front entrance, which could be spruced up a bit.

I went to Skin Thera P for a facial about a month ago. The staff was informative, helpful, and friendly...not to mention the esthetician who gave the facial was FABULOUS! I have never been so relaxed before during a facial! When I was done, I asked about laser hair removal. I was nervous to get it done, but that day I was able to get a trial and consultation (for free!!). A week later I came back for my laser treatment. Way less pain than waxing, and definitely worth it! Also lots of specials on packages and good deals. So, yes I am addicted now and go there all the time. You are missing out if you haven't yet been to Skin Thera P!

William J. Greenberg, M.D., graduated from New York Medical College in 1987 and completed post-graduate work at Lenox Hill Hospital in 1988. On-site at Skin Thera P six days a week, Dr. Greenberg oversees all procedures and treatments.
