    Beauty Essence have three spas in Central London, England and their philosophy is to create a warm, welcoming, approachable atmosphere where clients feel nurtured and respected. The spas are fully air conditioned and have all the luxuries you would expect, including Tempur mattresses, iPod's in each room (please feel free to bring your own iPod!), hydraulic couches, heated under blankets and great product ranges. The highly trained team of therapists pride themselves on their reassuring and professional approach to beauty therapy.

I regularly use beauty essence for waxing. You may find it more pricey than other places, but it's 100% worth it. I'm always really pleased with the results and the staff are very proffessional and welcoming.

I've had 3 Environ facials here and they have always been consistently good. You are very well looked after and the staff don't try and push products on your all the time but give advise when asked. The staff are very experienced and skilled in facials, I've not had any other treatment yet so I can't comment on other services but i will be trying them. You can book online and pick your beauty therapist which I think is an amazing service to offer, I get all my Environ products from there too, they are pretty well stocked! I would recommend this salon for facials in particular Environ.

I work round the corner from the Citysalon and have been coming here regularly for waxing and the odd eyelash tint for the last three or four years. I generally see either Gurpreet or Natasha and both are excellent therapists. Treatments are quick, the salon is clean with lovely relaxing treatment rooms, and the hours are great as you can either pop in any time during the day, or before/after work as they are open from 8 until 8. Prices are about average for the City, but it's the location and staff that make all the difference.

I was very happy to find that after a two year leave of absence from the City, Beauty Essence was still providing exactly the same professional and friendly service. Gurpreet as always did a great job and I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that price increases were minimal over the last two years. I will (and have) certainly recommend Beauty Essence to friends and colleagues!

Tucked away in a corner of the City, Beauty Essence is easily my best salon find. I used to work opposite and only discovered Beauty Essence when my cheap suburban salon let me down before a holiday. Girls in my office raved about the waxing at Beauty Essence so I gave it a go. The wax was patient, easy, comfortable and long-lasting. I've never looked back. I now work on the other side of town and still would only trust Beauty Essence with my skin. I have problem skin, so every time I go for a facial, I have a consultation first. Their recommendations have never failed to give me what I want. The Environ facials in particular are a favourite, they are so relaxing I always fall asleep, and leave looking refreshed, brighter and younger! No matter what the treatment, the therapists are all friendly, knowedgeable and easy to talk to about what you're looking for. You see the same faces every time you go so you can't help but feel comfortable. They recommend products but never make yo feel like you have to buy them (unlike some larger spas). I have recommended Beauty Essence to all my friends and none have ever been disappointed. Fantastic place.

I have used both the City and Mayfair salons, both are really good. Very near the station, you can book online and the therapists without fail are excellent and easy to chat to or if you prefer, silence and peace. I have had electrolysis, facials and eyelash tints. Really thoroughly recommend.

I work in the City, have been coming to Beauty Essence for the last seven years. I visit every month for waxing treatments and can't praise the salon highly enough for its friendly professional staff, ambience and the quality of the products it uses. I have also had a variety of other treatments at Beauty Essence and all have been executed to a very high standard. They keep up to date with all the latest products (eyelash extentions / gel nails etc) and no matter which therapist you have you know you are going to be thrilled with the result. The salon itself is relaxing and nicely decorated. I can't praise it highly enough!

Guinot Beaute Neuve Facial at Mayfair salon

I had my first facial at the Mayfair branch today. I wasn't sure whether the Guinot Beaute Neuve or the Microdermabrasion facial was more suitable for me so I had asked for a consultation beforehand. I was greeted really warmly as I entered the salon and was introduced to my therapist Mel. She was very sweet and friendly. We had a talk about my skin concerns and she explained how to treat each problem I had. I then got ready and she cleansed my skin and had a proper look at my skin and recommended the Beaute Neuve facial. She was very professional and knowledgeable. She explained the process of the facial and left me to relax while she continued. The music and atmosphere was fantastic and I was relaxed throughout the whole time. I was also given a scalp and a back, arm and hand massage. After the facial I was given time to look at my skin. I felt very relaxed and refreshed. My skin felt thoroughly cleansed and I could see a difference to my complexion and overall appearance. My skin was left feeling soft and smooth too. So happy with the overall experience from this salon, I have already booked in for my next facial! Also, I was not pushed into buying any products, unlike many other salons I've been to! 5 star service!!!

I had a Guinot Hyrdradermie 2 facial at the City salon and my therapist helped me work out a plan to improve the quality of my skin in the most kind, helpful and cost effective way. It does seem that the staff really have your best interests at heart. Plus, the treatments are fantastic - they really have picked out the best range on the market to offer... also you can pick up very reasonably priced products. Highly recommended!
