About Sanctuary Spa Saratoga Springs
Sanctuary Spa of Saratoga Springs' comprehensive menu features services that range from medically advanced aesthetic treatments to rejuvenating massages and facials. The two-story, 4,300-square-foot facility houses nine treatment rooms in addition to a relaxation area and infrared sauna. Clients looking for an overnight spa experience can take advantage of a two-bedroom private treatment area with a Roman tub.
French designer Samuel Margulies incorporated feng shui principles into the spa's sophisticated look. Soothing water elements recall the origin of the word "spa" in the Latin phrase "Sanus Per Aquam" (healing through water).
One physician is on site to supervise high-quality treatments. All skincare treatments begin with Visia Skin Analysis, a digital-imaging system that enables spa professionals to locate problem areas and track progress. Sanctuary Spa of Saratoga Springs has relationships with Dr. Stanley Docyk, who is board-certified in emergency and internal medicine. With extensive training in the aesthetic environment, he brings his expertise and experience to the spa. The staff also includes two registered nurses, highly trained aestheticians, licensed massage therapists, and a makeup artist who works with Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup products.
This luxury spa has a retail center that carries Sanctuary Spa of Saratoga Springs robes, polo shirts, aromatherapy candles, and celebrated skincare product lines that are sold exclusively in the spa.

A friend from work and I recently took a day off and visited the Sanctuary Spa. We opted for the Spa Pedicure, which was amazing! The service was definitely an hour or longer, and we had the pleasure and good company of two great nail technicians. The relaxation room and restrooms were great, staff all friendly, already signed up to go back again! Location is also great in downtown Saratoga Springs and is surrounded with great resturants, shops, and hotels - a great destination! Enjoy!

Wonderful manicure and pedicure. Luxury treatment compared to most. Professional staff serving fruit platters and bringing beverages to me during the session. Ended in the relaxation room to dry. So relaxing and peaceful. Thank you. I will be back.

The phone call to book the party, to the greetting, attentiveness to locker areas and relaxation area to the treatment room, all the way to the end of the day. Superb. Top Shelf. Staff professional, smart and educated on all aspects of the spa. Great job Saratoga. I have been to many spas and this is on the top. Hope to get back for racing season. Heard it is fun. Would love another visit. So Relaxing.

came in from Boston with three of my friends. The other two from Rochester. The best facials ever. Massages amazing. The beds are the best ever. The owner visited with us in the relaxation room. We all were so relaxed. Owner offered advise on wonderful restuarants to go to in town. We had champagne with a cheese, cracker and fruit platter. We were definately pampered. Then we finished in the locker room. Everything we needed. Showers, and the amenities over the top. Clean and relaxing. The front desk personnel was so friendly. Enjoyed meeting with the owner. Not often do we see that. We go to many spas. Thank you for the wonderful experience. We will be back next year. You are tops on our list.

This is my first time at Sanctuary Spa and even though I was hoping to arrive 15 minutes before my service, and arrived 5 minutes to my service start time, I was not made to feel rushed at all. The receptionist was very friendly and she asked for my shoe size. She then got me my slippers, then showed me the changing area, and then the relaxation room and its amenities (tea, water, etc). I was provided with a locker and a key, robe and slippers. The changing area was very clean and had two shower areas, lots of towels, and two very cool sinks. The details of the entire spa (of what I saw) were so lovely and inviting. The relaxation was exactly that, dim lights, cozy seating, quiet, some magazines to keep one occupied while I waited for my massage therapist, Tamara. Everyone used their spa voice, which I loved. The massage therapist was excellent, listened to my needs, and paid attention to the details of my stressed out body. I was in heaven. I was really impressed by her talent and would happily come back sooner -- if only I lived closer! Highly recommend for its relaxing atmosephere, customer service, cleanliness.

I'd never had a spray tan before, but didn't want to risk looking cheesy so went to Sanctuary. I love their attention to details, the technician was so sweet and made me so comfortable. I'm thrilled with the results, everyone is so kind---what a treat to have in our town.

starting with my massage, which was the best ever. he was so educated and listened to my concerns. worked on the areas of concern. off to my facial with a massage incorporated. what a treat. so professional . after a cup of tea and granola, i headed to the manicure/pedicure room for an aromatherapy pedicure with pariffin and a great snack. after that a manicure and complimentary makeup. i was ready for my night out with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. thank you so much. will be in soon. want to do the couples massage next with the tub room people in the relaxing room told me it was the greatest experience. keep going strong. much needed in this stressful world.

Best girls day ever. From our services to the relaxation room, it was professional, clean. We brought lunch in and it was served between treatments. We did not want to leave, it was so relaxing. Beautiful spa. Luxury. Can't wait to get back.

Best spa experience I have ever had. From the minute I walked through the door the staff was professional and caring. The retail area is one of the best I have seen. Travel the world. This spa is definately a destination spa. Do not miss, if visiting Saratoga Springs. Can't wait to get back. Services were superb.

I brought my friend and her grandmother to the spa for some prewedding day fun. We received the best manicures and pedicures which included a wonderful cheese platter. We were able to bring champagne to enjoy and all the staff was so wonderful to the bride and also to us. I received a massage from Stephanie which was out of this world, never felt so relaxed. I will definitly be going back to the Sanctuary Spa for more pampering.

My husband suggested I try Sanctuary spa after looking at a variety of day spas in the area. I didn't know what exactly to expect or to bring with me. I arrived with my wallet and my cell phone and they had everything thing else I could imagine I would need.
I received a Signature Facial, an Aromatherapy Massage, and the Signature Pedicure. The relaxation room is very comfortable for downtime between treatments. The massage was the best! I assumed that the aromas would assault my nose. It was the most precise and comfortable massage I've ever gotten. (Ask for Sara).
The facial was basic, I have pretty good skin already. It was definitely relaxing and I expected to get product pushed on me. I only received answers to my questions for product suggestions.
The pedicure was average. For 65.00 I expected that more tools would be used and more detail would be paid to the heels. But it was comfortable and the pedicurist was really sweet.
I'm definitely sending my husband and referring my friends to Sanctuary.
