Essential Therapies has a great atmosphere, a wonderful staff that provide outstanding services. The BEST facial I have ever had - Faith is amazing!

I visited this spa with my friend before her engagement party and we were so glad that we did. We started outside in the hot tub for a relaxing soak before being led inside. I had a lovely deep tissue massage and a facial that made my face glow! The staff was lovely and brought us lunch in the garden before we had our makeup done by the very professional, very knowledgeable aesthetician. We left feeling gorgeous, ready for a great night out! I will DEFINITELY visit this spa again and would recommend it to ANYONE!!

My husband and I both have come here for massages, and we absolutely love it! The staff is so friendly and professional. We start all our massages with a visit to the hot tub for 30 minutes. The tub is located outside, hidden among very old oak trees and other trees that are just gorgeous. The girls that gave us our "couple" massages are amazing. We have absolutely nothing to say that is negative. We even love the tea they serve us while we wait and while we are in the hot tub. We have to drive almost an hour, but it is worth every minute. Thank you so much, and we plan on seeing you soon!

I have visited essential therapies several times and have never been disappointed. From the moment you call to make your appointment to the time you leave you feel like family. The staff are all friendly and professional. My facial with Faith and my massage from Elaina (the awesome) were both extremely relaxing. When you want to be truly pampered....you should go visit the girls...and cant forget to finish it off with a dip in the hottub...Wow im calling now to make my next appt

Being what I have decided to myself as a "Spa Junkie", I went into Essentials with high hopes. Boasting a free outdoor garden jacuzzi experience prior to my much needed Deep Tissue Massage my anticipation was one of "Oooh, this should be wonderful! I can't wait for this!" Yea, well, I probably could have waited. While the staff was very accomodating, giving me a lovely robe and faux bejeweled flip flops, I was then led out to a deck that seemed to never be in use. Walking on the dirty, overgrown,mildewed deck, down a wet dirt path, and dodging spider webs (with spiders in them) to boot, I was guided to the jacuzzi. It's a pearl white shell, surrounded by banana trees and palms, but, to my dismay and disappointment, the water in the tub was green. Being a hot tub owner myself, I knew this wasn't good. PH was probably off, or it needed shock, not enough bromine or chlorine - something. The staff assured me this was normal, and that it was probably the reflection of the trees (?) and that they sterilize after each use. I stepped in, and found hair tangled in the headrest. So much for sterilizing. The foliage of the garden was unkempt, overgrown and needed a lot of attention. But enough about the outdoor ambiance. Let's just say It was very much like being in the woods. So, I suppose it was a "natural outdoor experience". After the jacuzzi, it was time for my massage. I requested a Deep Tissue Massage. While the massage therapist was pleasant, her hands were shaking while trying to create the strength needed. This too was a bit of a disappointment. I felt rushed through the process, where most other places allow you to sit in the lounge, give you some water, etc. That too did not happen here. I had left over water from earlier and wasn't invited to sit and relax anywhere. Conclusion: This place really has the potential for greatness. They have the equipment, the garden, etc. However, they really need to pay more attention to details inside and out. Having many other experiences to compare to myself, I'm certain If you are new to Spa Treatments and Hot Tubs, then you will probably love it.

I've been here 3 times, and loved it every time! I've also taken my husband, my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and another girlfriend. We all enjoyed the hot tub pre-services, hot tea, lemon water and then various services (facial,deep tissue massage, regular massage). Each employee has been personable, gracious, polite and absolutely fabulous service. What a great way to spend an afternoon in Mt. Dora.

You feel as though you really escape! What a wonderful experience in Mount Dora!! The staff is friendly & professional & you always feel as though you do not want to leave!! Look forward to each visit!! :)
