I recently tried an Acupressure Session with Sunnie and was absolutely amazed at the results after just one session. Not only did it provide relief from my neck and shoulder aches, but it gave me with an increased energy level, which in turn afforded me a continuous and peaceful night's sleep. I look forward to my next session with Sunnie.

I have had a number of acupressure sessions with Sunnie. I love the feeling! A wave of relaxation comes over my body and my mind that is indescribable. Sunnie has a special way about her and a healing touch. Since I started acupressure with Sunnie, my headaches and sciatica are gone, and I just feel happier. When I leave a session- I feel the Best Ever- On top of the world!

First of all, Amber A's review is at best, very difficult to understand. Did she give Albert the opportunity to correct what she didn't like? The ONE time in 11 years that I was not happy with my hair (color), Albert stayed until 9 p.m. that very night to fix it. In spite of the fact that he did exactly what I asked for, he changed it for me, free of charge. Amber, did you tell Albert you weren't happy? I don't think so because, if you had, you would not have had to "spend a fortune" to fix it! For my own experiences, Details is a warm, less formal environment. They make you feel like family, are fun and down-to-earth and do an excellent job. They listen to what you want. If you are looking for stuffy and snobby, don't look here! If you're looking for fun, warm and talent, Details is for you.

Albert is the worst hair dresser-I had to spend afortune to fix my haircut. It was choppy with no style - Not sure if he is a stylist or a fraud !

The minute i walked into Details I was greeted by a wonderful staff right away asking if I wanted coffee or water or tea or something to eat. I sat down in the owner's chair, Albert, and Albert was very open with me and made me feel comfortable, he not only made me feel relaxed, he also suggested many modern styles that would look flattering with my face shape and my type of hair. I chose a stylish bob that he made look better then the model. My hair was cut in style to perfection! Thanks so much for a great experience!

Albert cut my hair and it was the worst haircut I have ever had in this country. I got home and my family was shocked with my choppy haircut. I had to go to another hairdresser to get it fixed. Albert should give up cutting hair-that will save everyone a lot of grief !

Albert, the owner, has been cutting my hair for years and I always get compliments on the cut - I was even stopped on the street in NYC by a young woman just to tell me what a great haircut I had. I always thought I was Albert's favorite customer until I realized he treats every customer as if they are his favorite. He and his wife Mary have created a real sanctuary of a spa at Details.

Tina Doh has been doing my nails for over twentyyears through 3 or 4 salon changes. Her artistry in drawing designs during a manicure is outstanding. The pedicures are always good and definitely relaxing. The massage was soothing and therapeutic. My hair has been styled by Albert and his hair stylists. I have always been satisfied. I will definitely be visiting this manicurist and salon again!

Have followed Tina Do to get my manicures from 1991 at various shops, one of which she owned Over the almost 20 years, I have never had any health issues with my nails and they always come out beautiful and last long. She is always pleasant, gracious and definitely skilled in her work. Sitting opposite someone for an hour every other week establishes a bond, believe it or not, and I am very grateful to have become friends with this talented and lovely woman. The rest of the staff are also professional yet enjoy each other's company and there is always a real 'family of professionals' harmonious atmosphere especially now that the ever efficient Annette has returned.

Tina Do has been handling my nails for the last 17 years and I have never even been tempted to go elsewhere. She is a perfectionist and with my thin, brittle nails that is important! Because of Tina I have beautiful nails and receive compliments all the time! I recentely switched to gels from acrylics on her recommendation and I love them! I also love Tina's pedicures, especially her hot stone pedicure with massage. Her attention to the massage and again to a flawless finish is incredible. Thanks Tina!!!

I first learned of Tina from a patient of mine that had beautiful nails, when I asked her who had done her nails she gave me Tina's card. I made an appointment and not only did she have a very warm and welcoming personality, but she made me feel so comfortable and mainly knew her craft. Fourteen years later Tina is still my manicurist and I would not change her for the world...Her equipment is cleaned and disinfected beyond words...No one wants to go to a manicurist who doesn't take care of her equipment...Love the fact that she carries the latest colors of the season even before they make it to the stores. If you only visit Details once make it with Tina, you won't be dissatisfied....Love my Tina..

My kids and I have been patrons of Details Salon for years. So nice to visit a place where service and the warmth and friendliness of the staff is always outstanding. They are almost a hour hour drive since I moved, but worth every minute of it.

Millie, esthetician to the stars in NYC @ Estee Lauder, found the perfect place for her talent & skills when she moved to Jersey. Tina's nails are the finishing touch to beauty & beyond. In our last visit, Annette was back @ the front desk to help us facilitate our schedule. With a family that covers teens to seniors, Deatils is for us, and if your go for class, style and comfort, it's for you too.

I came with vilsit this spa first time reasonly.First, When I walk in the salon, the stuff was not friendly! I have spa service with them. I had Micro facial down. My skin was hurting and turn to red for a few days. I would never go back there!

This was the best Salon i have yet to visit!! i was visiting from Florida and I was lucky enough to make an appointment with Mary! she was very professional and talented. She did exactly what i asked for and gave me the most relaxing time i have ever had in a salon. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone! Thanks Details!

The service was so out of this world that I was left speechless. I went to Details Salon and Spa on a girls weekend trip to NJ. Juan gave me a massage that left me speechless. Oh my God, I could not talk for at least ten minutes. All the girls wanted to know how good the massage was and I could not say anything, but shake my head. He has the softest hands and he massages you from your toes to your scalp. If I could get him to come to VA to massage about twenty willing ladies, I would. That was the best massage that I have had in my life. I have visited many spas in different cities and paid up to $200 for a massage. Juan's massage was during spa week and only $50, but it was worth $200. If you are the type of person who loves for a man to massage you, please go see Juan because he is definitely a master of his art form.

I was visiting in the area and needed kill a few hours when my friends went to work. To my good luck I stopped in details for a cut.The stylest asked what I wanted I did not know ? some thing youthful .. So she did just that I got a warm winter color and a great cut. I still had time So into the spa area I went. A facial, what hands this gal had. My skin glowed like I lost 5 years.I told my friends that night how happy I was and the vert next day we ALL went back for a massage. I wish I lived there I fell in love with every one I meet in DETAILS Thanks me "north country"

I went to this salon with my friend, SS, who described her experience below. We were both in town for a wedding, and the hotel recommended Details for our grooming needs. Amy did my hair, and did a perfectly passable job. I should say that I have straight hair, and basically ask any stylist to put a bowl over it and cut. It literally takes 10 minutes to cut my hair. While Amy was cutting my hair, Albert (the owner) was talking to SS about her hair. He then came over and said to my stylist, "You got the one who wants a bob. My client won't let me give her one." I replied that SS would not want a bob. He then said, "Well, I'm not going to tell her what I'm doing to her hair." I thought he was kidding. Turns out, he wasn't. SS emerged from the salon with a terrible, terrible haircut. It was layered and feathered in the front, and three inches longer in the back. It was not stylish, modern, or what SS asked for. I am ashamed to admit that I laughed uncontrollably at her hair, because it was that shockingly bad. SS details below how unprofessionally they treated her when she called to complain, so you can read her review to learn about that. I felt compelled to submit a concurring review, because it is very fishy that a small suburban New Jersey salon (in a house, no less) receives a glowing review right after having received a negative, and completely truthful one.

I have been getting my hair done at Details now for over a year. Everytime I go it just gets better and better. I always get a perfect haircut and the best highlights. Everyone is a professional there and they take their time to listen to all your requests. I also get facials and micros done and I can honestly tell you that there is no one better at treating skin. The atmosphere in the spa is very relaxing and homey. I felt like I needed to finally share my experience at Details because I guarentee you that you will not be disappointed.

I had a terrible experience at Details Salon and would not recommend it to anyone. I was referred to Details by a local hotel, while in town for the weekend. The owner cut my hair. He refused to listen to me when I asked for only a few inches to be taken off. Instead he told me that he "knew what he was doing" and proceeded to cut my hair into what can only be described as a feathered mullet. I had to have it fixed immediately, and the second hair dresser said: "I don't like to speak badly about other professionals, but you will be forever indebted to me if I can fix this disaster." When I called to complain about the service, the owner refused to call me back to speak with me. The receptionist told me that it was not his policy to issue refunds and hung up on me. I am not typically one to complain or to write reviews on websites, but I was so appalled by the poor quality and lack of professionalism of this salon that I was compelled to write here. Take my word and find another place to get your hair cut.

I thought this was the best experience in spa treatment i have ever had! I am definatly coming back...soon! I told all my friends about this wonderful salon! It's amazing how the owners (Albert and Mary Gargiulo) took a house and turned it into a 5 star salon!

Such a pleasant experience each tim i visit Details salon. The staff are wonderful and really make you feel special. The salon is clean and well kept and all requests are filled,whatever you may want.Everyone is knowledgeable and courteous and a pleasure to be around.There are always good specials to take advantage of.I have been a client for years and whatever you're looking for can be found at Details.

I always give my wife a spa visit for Valentines's Day, usually out of town. This year we couldn't travel so I decided to check out a cozy looking spot on the Millburn/ Springfield border. What a delight! A couple massage was so relaxing and dreamy that moving on was not an easy option. My wife followed with a facial, the best she ever had, and she has been around the world. A romantic lunch topped the experience leaving us almost speecless. From the courteous treatment @ the desk to the finishing touches in the salon and warm good byes, it was a truly unforgettable present for both us us. And, you don't have to spend an arm and a leg to get world class service right near home.

Found this salon on this site when seeking a new place for micro dermabrasion. near my house My appointment was with Millie and she performed the micro using 3 passes. The first 2 with regular crystals and the 3rd with a mineral formula. She is easy to talk to and concentrated on the areas of my face that bothered me the most. A mask is applied and a mini head and neck massage is given, while your hands get cream and are put into the heated gloves. At the end, she uses oxygen which plumps out the skin. It is really amazing, but only lasts a day. I looked years younger leaving. Would do this as a stand alone treatment for a special night out, as facials and micro make me a bit red the day done. Facility is clean and the appropriate attire is worn, which i feel is very important. I am going to try my eyebrows there next visit. It takes a little time to get an appointment, but in my book, that is good. I have gone to many places for micro and facials, etc., and i can say she really listens to your concerns and explains what she can do to your skin type safely, as my skin is sensitive. Have recommended Millie and will try their massage with Maria (i think that's the name) next trip. They said she only works there Saturday and a few evenings.

I have been going to Details for about a year now. My stylist Amy is simply the BEST! She has great ideas about what will look good on me and often helps me decide on new colors or styles to try. Most recently I got a full head of hair extensions done by Amy. They look AMAZING! I went that same night to dinner with friends that I hadn't seen in a while and they thought it was my real hair! My husband says they look great too! I also think Millie gives the best facials hands down! She takes the time to examine my face and recommends what will work best for what is going on at that point. I love getting facials from her and can't wait until I get my next one! She is also the best waxer I have found by far. She takes her time and makes my brows look perfect! I would recommend Details AGAIN and AGAIN! You're bound to find more than one thing to love about them!

Millie, the esthetician, is a master at her trade. I first met Millie when she was at a Manhattan spa. A couple years ago she left Manhattan and I have followed her to Details spa. I do not trust anyone else with my skin. In each facial visit, she analyzes your skin to determine what it needs and the treatment is customized to address your needs. The result of each visit is skin that is absolutely flawless and glowing.

I can’t say enough good things about Details. I am new to the area and just so happen to be looking for a new place. Details came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. The staff, the service, and the atmosphere were all second to none. I have been going there now for over two months and my stylist, Amy, is great. She takes the time to listen to what I want, is knowledgable about what she is doing and delivers every time. I would highly recommend Details to everyone!

Looking for a great facial. I definitely would see this place was the right choice to make. Don't let the busy downstairs salon fool you. Climb up to the spa upstairs and you are a world away. Peace and quiet and terrific service. Millie will take care of whatever you need. She gives great facials!

Calm, serene atmosphere, with particular attention to "Details"..Individual consultations for hair coloring, with time spent on the right mix for terrific results. Staff always attentive and a pleasure to return to...spa upstairs is another world that takes you away to focusing on "your time" and what is the best treatment that improves your skin, takes away the fine lines and sun damage. Total overall experience is excellent.

I have been a client of Details Salon and Spa for years. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for my hair coloring and styling. The professional staff keeps current with the latest products and styles. The Spa is also a great experience. The oxygen facial I received was so relaxing and rejeuvinating as well. My skin felt and looked great! About a year ago I realized I was ready to try a new makeup line. I went for a makeup consultation at Details to see what they could do for me. The makeup felt so light and natural. I bought the products and have been very happy with them. The owners can't do enough to please you and the staff is just as warm and friendly, too.
