The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong offers pampering amenities inspired by modern hydrotherapy and Asian spirituality. The 22,000-square-foot (2,044 square meters) facility encompasses an amethyst crystal steam room, a Finnish sauna with a cooling fountain dispensing crushed ice, a Moroccan-inspired Rhassoul chamber, and sensory steam showers. In addition to 16 private treatment rooms with chaise lounges, two spa suites (Aqua and Crystal) feature a vitality pool, private vanity and washroom, mini-bar, and LCD television. Most treatment areas afford panoramic harbor or pool views, a calming counterpoint to the cream-and-aqua-green spa décor.
Asian-inspired signature treatments blend holistic principles with pure luxury. Spa-goers can indulge in the Four Seasons Fusion massage, which incorporates ylang ylang, vanilla, cedarwood and mandarin. Customized combinations of Chinese herbs are used in the two-hour Oriental Infusion experience, which includes herbal foot soak, exfoliation, body wrap, steam therapy, and acupressure massage.
The spa also provides services derived from traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), including tui na (energy-manipulation massage).
Yoga and Pilates classes are held in the 24-hour fitness center, where state-of-the-art Technogym machines are equipped with individual touch-screen televisions. After working up a sweat, exercisers can cool off at the rooftop Pool Terrace, which features both lap and inifity-edge pools, stunning views, and underwater music. Tai chi classes are also held at the Pool Terrace twice a week.
