This is a local day spa I frequently turn to when I need a truly therapeutic massage. I often wait until my back and neck are crying for attention and every therapist I have had work on me at Ocean Day Spa has been amazing. I have had wonderful experiences at resorts and day spas nationwide, but this spa is one that I always know will provide me exactly with the TLC I need! I highly recommend adding cupping to any massage service. It works wonders on problem areas.

I am updating my experience entitled " Great with the exception to Payment". I received a call today from the owner of the spa after she heard of my bad experience. She was very apologetic of what happened. I appreciate that she took the time to reach out to me and remedy the situation - that meant alot to me and shows to me she is interested in making her customer's happy. I feel this experience started badly but it ended on a positive note.

A hidden gem in Carlsbad!! Ocean Day Spa is truly a fantastic experience that is head and shoulders above the rest! I have had massages at resorts on Maui (Grand Walea), the Four Seasons Carlsbad, La Costa Resort and Spa, Trilogy (Manhattan Beach), Massage Envy (Carlsbad). I kept trying until I found Ocean Day Spa and have no desire or need to look any further. Kerry (the owner), and her staff, has a natural gift of healing through massage therapy. I work in a high stress job, in front of a computer, or in strategic meetings, and coming to Ocean Day Spa has been such a great relief of that stress! I come in for a 90 minute (sometimes 60) massage thinking I have just the typical upper back/shoulder stress - and throughout my massage Kerry finds areas that are tight that I didn't even realize, and works me into a peaceful and relaxing abyss. I could go on, but I hope you take the word of all that have posted here, and get to experience first hand how amazing the massage is!

Although in a business park area, the inside is tastefully decorated with a calming decor. I had a great pedicure with a wonderful gentle touch and my massage by Wendy found all my sore spots!! Everyone was very friendly and I left feeling pampered and relaxed!

I came upon this spa because spa finder was having a $50 spa treatment deal days and the website looked nice. I went in expecting an ok massage because I was only paying $50 and boy was I wrong. The therapist was really good and made me feel like I was paying extra with all the attention she gave me. I have been back many times since then because they always have fantastic specials every month. I think I have had a treatment with everyone in there by now and I have never been disapponted. The spa itself is very clean and has an earthy vibe. I can't say enough good things about this place. I did see the reveiw that the owner was rude and I find that hard to believe, she is always so nice and happy. I highly recommend this spa!

I have gone to many spas over the years including luxury spas at resorts. This, by far, exceeds my expectations. Not only do I go for relaxation but it is a total healing experience. The owner Kerry is amazing at what she does. She heals body, mind and soul. I think everyone should have this experience and I have sent many friends and family and even strangers that I meet with any physical problems to her. I had years of physical therapy and nothing helped until I found this spa. What turned out to be a "nice to have massage" appointment changed my life. I have had other treatments as well, facials, wraps, etc. and all of the staff is gifted with such talent. I even celebrate birthdays there! Thank you Kerry and everyone at Ocean Day Spa for the gift of healing Body, Mind and Soul!

I have been to Ocean Day Spa many times. I always received an amazing massage! Unfortunately, the owner Kerry is extremely rude! I was in absolute shock that someone would ever run a business like this. Both my husband and I own a business and would never speak or act the way Kerry acted to me. It's very unfortunate because I would have continued to go there at least two times a month like I had been going. However now I will never go back and I will tell everyone I know to never go there. There are hundreds of spa's out there and in these economic times she should learn how to treat her customers with respect. I feel bad for her employee's because they all seemed nice but I won't give my hard earned money to someone who speaks so poorly to their customers. i hope if you choose to go there you have a different experience with Kerry then I did.

I happened upon Ocean Day Spa when Stroller Strides held a "Mom's Night Out". My expectations were not set too high since the spa's right down the way from my dentist and I hate going to the dentist! But I was blown away!! What a treat to have this so close to home. They have tons of quick 30-minutes treatments which means I can scoot out of work a bit early and pamper myself before heading home to take care of the family. And the best part is that the treatments are reasonably priced - a tough thing to come by for a spa in Carlsbad. The lobby and waiting area is a bit small but I still plan on going back very soon!

I love this cozy little place in Carlsbad. I usually frequent different spas in the area depending on the specials they have going on. I found this quiet spot and now I go here no matter what! Kerry gave me the best massage I have ever had - Period! I tried a facial last week (which I usually don't get because I break out every time), Virginia was excellent, very gentle extractions, wonderful touch, and she know everything about skin types and skin creams etc... I had no breakout so I will definitely be back again soon!!!!
