A diamond in the rough. You would never know how peaceful this place is from the outside. As you ascend the stairs, you can feel the stress begin to melt away as you enter the tranquil environment. Services are wonderful. Charlotte, thank you for all of your help. You are a gem. I loved Cindy and Crystal! Cindy's massage skills are great! She found all of my sore spots and worked them out so deep.

My husband and I went this past week for a couples massage as a treat for our 13th wedding anniversary. Irina and and Cindy were very professional and made us feel great! Would highly recommend this place. The owner on the way out even offered to buy us an appitizer if we were going to go eat lunch. Its been a few days and my husband is still saying how relaxed he feels. We will be going back soon.

I have been a client of Renaissance Day Spa for over 10 years. The professional and courteous manner in which I am treated, as well as the luxurious pampering I receive for every service keeps me going back year after year. Char, the owner has always shown concern for my entire spa experience and the entire staff makes sure that my service needs are met. Massages by Cindy and Irena are therapeutic, relaxing, and professional, as are the facials performed by Elena and Tina. I've also had wonderful manicures done by Crystal. Char keeps up with the latest techniques and products to provide the ultimate overall spa experience. I feel relaxed upon entering the newly renovated pre/post spa rooms and always leave feeling pampered and with a sense of well-being. Thank you, Renaissance for always meeting my service needs and exceeding my expectations for a restful spa experience....

I am a repeat client of this AMAZING spa, because of my wondeful experiance I convinced my husband to get the "couples massage" with me. This was his first time getting a professional massage and did not know what to expect...Well, this experiance just blew him away !!! First off the owner and staff greeted us with open arms and assured my husband that his massage woudl be amazing...We went back into the BEAUTUFUL waiting area before our service and entered into HEAVEN !!! My Husband could barely walk and was so very relaxed and pampered that the clients in the waiting area were sold on getting Swedish massages form the look on my husbands face...Pure relaxation as well as I "of course" !!! The staff as USUAL were VERY PROFESSIONAL and CARING and made our "couples massage" an experiaance to remember...WE WILL DEFINITALY be back again and plan on pampering ourselves more often...Renaissance is surely and experiance you will definatley remember !!!

Dear Debbie Barr. I always ask every potential client when they are making their appointment if they have any communicable situations with their hands or feet. I explain, if necessary, what we can and cannot do. We cannot put other clients at risk but there are adjustments to the service that would make the experience wonderful if a client had a problem. The question I asked you is asked of every client that calls in. It is not to degrade-it is to protect you and the other clients we have served for the past 21 years. I treasure my clients, you among them, and would never want to offend you. I will continue to ask the same questions because I must continue to protect all who enter these doors. That has always been a comforting thought to clients not a degrading one.

I just came back from the most relaxing day at the Renaissance Day spa in Cranberry. I scheduled a massage because I felt I needed a little pampering. I work full time, have 2 children and travel quite a bit on business. The staff was friendly, the massage was awesome and the newly renovated design at the spa....absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It was so relaxing and serene that I didn't want to leave. I would recommend the Renaissance Day Spa to anyone!

i have been coming to this for years, and hope you do also. the renovations they have made to this spa is very beautiful and tranquil. and as always EVERYONE there is so loving, never rushed,, and warm hearted and will help you in every way possible. If someone doesn't have the answer, they will find it! . they let u relax and just experiance the calm and soothing invironment you are in after a long day of work, or whatever hustle n bustle the world twirls you in, you can excape there. and i feel bad for those who speak negativly. its such a shame.... this spa has consistence.. CONSISTENCE! and i capalize this because its the truth. I wouldnt be returning after so many years if it we'rnt true. And the owner is one of a kind, her love for her "home" her "family" and clients is unmatching. Thank you renaissance day spa....

My Husband purchased me a gift package for Christmas and I decided I would treat myself to the PAMPERING EXPERIENCE of a "Spa Day"...I was greeted and taken back to the changing rooms to prepare for my first spa service. Cindy, my masseuse was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL, truly professional and calming, my swedish massage was so relaxing THat I almost lost my footing getting off the table. I was offered refreshment and waited for my next service which was my pedicure. Tina my pedicurist was friendly, experienced and took her time in making my feet look "beautiful"...My facial with Elena was next, can I say she was the utmost of professional and very, very experienced in what she was doing, I felt like I was in heaven with the beautiful atmosphere and music and the TOTAL care made in giving me the most wonderful facial ever. Next came my manicure with Crystal, I was not iimpressed and felt I was rushed through at this point and asked to pay but my nails did look wonderful and shaped beautiful...Overall, I will DEFININATELY be back to try more of the services offered and promptly told my hisband "you know what I want for my Christmas gift !!! Renissiance Day Spa will give you an experience in pampering you will not soon forget !!

This morning was my first visit to this spa...I had a gift card, so I scheduled a pedicure and manicure. They were able to get me in quickly and the staff was very friendly. No one tried to sell me additional services and I was in and out in an hour. I found the spa to be reasonably priced and very clean. Overall a great experience. I would definitely visit again!

Yesterday was my second visit to this spa and I really enjoyed my aromatheropy massage. Cindy was truly great. I was so relaxed when I left that I didn't mind driving home in a snow storm! Everyone there is always very nice.

i absolutly love this spa!! they treat you as if you were part of their family! truly a wonderful and professional experiance. you will never find such a beautiful clean ( you could eat off their floors!) environment with beautiful relaxing music that just takes you away from the husltle and bustle of everyday life. you are greeted with such warmth and invitation! and the staff! oh my gosh! so caring and giving of the hearts they have for their clients and each other. its not like a " oh get you in get you out kind of place at all'..they care about you. cant say that about most places.. but this spa.. a must go to! truly a wonderful experiance.. thank you Renaissance Day Spa.. i will be back !

I absolutely love going to the renaissance day spa. They have such a wide variety of services and all of the staff is extremely friendly and efficient. It is also a very relaxing atmosphere and I go there to unwind quite frequently. The owner has gone to great lengths to make sure every detail of the spa is perfect from the decor to the cleanliness of every inch of the establishment. I myself own a business and can appreciate this plus what a well run establishment it is every single time I have visited there. I have referred at least 15 people to this spa and every person has been satisfied and has become a repeat customer. Gina M

A friend and I chose to go together for the whole spa experience. We had massages, manicures, pedicures and facials. Everything was rushed and the staff, not very friendly. Very money focused and tried to sell products and additons to the services that were already purchased. The area was very cramped and not spa like at all. Manicures were given in the hallway! Very disappointed. I arrived early, before my friend, and was whisked away to get my services started and did not see her for hours.

Thank you for your review. You should see us now. The entire decor is zen to the max and the areas have been greatly enlarged. One thing I don't understand is the hallway manicures. Our manicure area is a seperate room. You are correct in saying that you did not see each other for a few hours. That is because while you were having your facials and massages you were in seperate rooms. If you specify couples rooms you will be together. You will never find a more loving group of professionals than you will here. They have been doing their jobs at least 10 to 25 award winning years. Are you sure you were at this Renaissance and not the other 2 that are not affiliated with us but are in Pittsburgh? Give us a try-we would love to serve you. From The Heart...

Degrading experience with facial

As a treat, my friend & I scheduled facials and massages. The "lady" who did my facial needed to be trained in the art of customer service. She continually found "problems" with my skin that she could "fix" if I was willing to pay for upgrades. I have had several facials prior to this one and was never treated like this. She continually pointed out problems (oily skin, dry cheeks, big pores, roseca, etc.) I left feeling like an ugly, pimply creature. She treated me rudely just to make an extra buck. While I was laying there trying to relax, she commented on the "poor" condition of my hands and nails and told me I should have scheduled a manicure because my nails looked terrible. (Granted, I bite my nails and they don't great. But that was none of her business.) For about a week afterwards, my face was a mess. Whatever she used made my face break out. I have never, ever had a problem/ reaction with a facial before. I will NEVER go back to this place and will tell anyone who asks what a bad experience I had. A day at the Spa is for relaxing not to be degraded!

I do not have a good memory of this SPA. I went there a couple of times and then the last time I could not make it for personal reasons. I called at the last minute saying I could not make the appt. They charged my bank acct directly for $50. I do not want to judge the Renaissance Policy however what can I say is that I do not know any other beauty business that does that. My family doctor charges $25 for late cancellation fee, and, I do not think that the time value of a Phd Doctor is less than the one of a SPA masseuse!

I feel bad to differ with you but we do not have a cancellation fee. What we had was a policy that required a 24 hour cancellation. This is not an unusual policy. It is a very common practice within the industry. Some will only accept 24 hours. Policies make for an honest expression of what the spa and the client expect from one another. The title of Phd or masseuse doe not make the policy. What makes the policy is the measure it provides to insure that the masseus/service provider makes what they need to live on. They may not be a family doctor or a Phd but they have the same basic needs. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you in the past.

The spa was outdated. The decor was circa 1984 and was riddled with fluorescent lighting, which made it far from relaxing. The services were fine. The pedicure I got lasted a long while, but I did not enjoy the atmosphere and did not feel "pampered".
