I visited the Spa On Paces for a mani & pedi. The technician was very friendly and the service was great! Everyone was so welcoming. They asked me to connect with them on Facebook and Twitter to get their coupons and monthly specials. I'll definitely come back. I'm hooked!

I attempeted to make a reservation for massages for 4 people. My only request was male maseuses (sp?) for our own comfort level. I fully understand that not many salons can accomdate 4 at once, but at a minimum 2 at a time. Well... seems they only had one available for that moment. i was willing to change my time and/or day. I must say, when i asked the woman who answered the phone if she could talk to the manager (who i had previously emailed and was told there wouldnt be a problem) and call me back as soon as possible as we were flying to Atlanta the next day and needed to get this secured, she sounded put out and almost nasty. she told me she call me at the end of her day...if she can. WELL, that never happened! ended up at D'Lor Salon Spa. a bit of drive, but they even gave us a discount cause of the size of the group... oh, she even put me on hold and called the mngr at home on his day off! SO RELAXING avoid this place, on customer service alone

I treated my boyfriend to a couple's massage. It was a great deal too because they allowed me to use a coupon for an individual massage to give a discount to us both. I enjoyed my massage tremendously, it included body brushing and I nearly fell asleep. Until I heard my boyfriend snoring enough for both of us. He REALLY liked it. I am so pleased because it was his 1st massage. He did say that the masseuse mentioned that he should drink more water, but I'm pretty sure that he didn't notice a problem. I think he's hooked!

I Didn't Want to Leave!By NicoleH | December 23, 2009

I honestly can't believe that someone would give this spa a low rating. My first experience (and every other visit) there was absolutely wonderful and the 90 minute massage I received from therapist Jamie was fantastic! The time flew by and had I known it would be that great, I would have requested 2 hours instead! The staff is always friendly and accommodating and I always leave the spa feeling relaxed, refreshed, and renewed. I also love the variety of services and products that the spa offers at reasonable prices - I don't feel "nickled & dimed" like I have at other spas. This has become one of my favorite spas in Atlanta and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for wonderful relaxation and quality service.

My first visit to this spa was a for a girls' weekend. We all enjoyed the sampler package. It was a pleasant experience for all of us. One girlfriend did not enjoy the massage as well as the rest of us, but she admitted that she likes to massaged very gently; basically she'd pay to have someone rub oil on her. I thought that the masseur could have done a better job of listening to her and making sure he applied the right pressure. Other than that, it was terrific. One of our group did not want the manicure because she had just had her nails done (I know, right.) but the service was included so the salon posted a credit for her to use later. I have been back on my own and for a couple's treatment, and have had nothing but great experiences.

Worst Massage EverBy MPLaw | October 17, 2008

I went to the Spa on Paces to relax the day before I took the LSAT. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating, and I really liked the look of the spa. When my therapist, Jaime, greeted me she took me right into my massage room and told me to change and hang my stuff on the hook. I was a little surprised, because for a spa that boasts "Celebrity/VIP Treatment," I didn't understand why there wasn't a changing room. I ended up folding most of my clothes and leaving them on the floor, since there was no way to hang all of my clothes on a hook. When my therapist returned I let her know that I just wanted to relax. I never had the opportunity to relax the entire time. The massage was extremely rough and she kept shaking me to see if I was relaxed or to get me to relax. After my hour of pain and torture, I felt terrible. To top it off, they don't offer a shower room for you to wash off the oil. They don't even give you a towel to wipe off. You have to get dressed and walk around greasy, until you can get home to shower. I didn't feel relaxed at all; I felt more like I had been beat up for an hour. I was extremely disappointed and felt like I had just wasted a lot of money. I called the next day to mention that I was extremely sore and felt that I didn't receive the service I had paid for. (I thought since their website also mentioned exceptional customer service there would surely be something to rectify the situation.) The young lady on the phone was extremely rude to me, and blew me off by taking my phone number. She blamed the soreness on me, saying that I didn't drink enough water and the toxins couldn't release from my muscles. My fiancé is a doctor, and my intelligence was insulted by this made up excuse about toxins. Overall, this was the worst spa experience I have ever had. I would not recommend this spa to anyone; there are much better spas in Atlanta
