Ladies and gentlemen, Please check your credit card statement even if you don't pay with your credit card. Make sure to get a receipt and check for accuracy. A few friends and I had to deal with unauthorized transaction showing up on our credit card statements a few weeks after the visit to the salon. At first she claimed I had a balance so she had to use my credit card without my authorization. (I gave credit card number when I made an appointment which she required). When she realized I could prove that I paid in full using Spa Finder gift certificates (I made copies of my Spa Finder before I redeemed them) she came up with a shallow excuse that she runs the business by herself without any help and how overwhelmed she gets...etc. I didn't appreciate her insulting my intelligence. She can write her own reviews just to bring up her spa's rating but she needs to learn the business ethics.

This review is False and very unfair the client is Dishonest and it's a real shame people lie on these reviews. We have a outstanding rating with spa finder and have been with them for years Also rated with A+ with BBB and most all customers for over 20 years now. 10 years in the manhattan location. We love what we do and take much pride and joy in the spa business. Remember some people you can't please! We would never on purpose take money from a clients credit card. if error we would refund asap as we have made a few errors in 10 years. But always credit back if it was our error. Rest assured!!

I walked in to A fresh Face as a walk in, No apt. I had a case of bad acne for a while and didn't know what to do anymore. I was treated by Victoria she is the acne specialist there. I read about some other reviews of people going there but after talking to Victoria I found out it's hard for her to find good help, but she has been in the business for 20 years and loves skincare and hair styling. She did a series of microdermabrasion facials with some kind of chemical peels with it. My skin looked pretty red after each apt. But better the next day.Being a guy i didn't want to use 4 products everyday to change my skin but she put me on just two products. I purchased the skincare by Aveda and Victoria custom blended some oils in it for my acne skin. It worked. My skin is clear and looks better than it has in a long time! Thanks To A Fresh Face.

First of all, I did not enjoy the facial. It was one of the worst facial services I have received in a long time. The lady was pushing for additional services and products the whole time that I could not relax at all. She kept telling me that I should wax my brows just like a friend of mine did earlier that day and my friend was very happy with it. I found out that my friend did not get her brows waxed. The lady blatantly lied to me. I did not appreciate the way this place does business and I will let my friends and co-workers who use SpaFinder know about it. I will stop buying SpaFiner certificates as long as SpaFinder is affiliated with this spa.

We do remember this client. We are sorry she feels this way but always happy to make your service better and invite you back. With exception to false reviews any lying. Honesty will get you much further if we feel you didn't get are bes we would always like to comp you another one on the house. But not in these case with this client sorry. We do have the right to also refuse service.

A fresh face did not rip off Stephanie....There was a missunderstanding in apt time She was issued a credit for the special . She didnt speak up on the special that was on line. She had to change her apt time to a sunday we had a massage therapist out sick who tried to get in touch with me . We would never rip off anyone. This client will be compensated her 49.00 and we will make sure of it. Spa finder is a great site and we have plenty of happy customers for over 7 years now. Stephanie the reviewer has a credit issued to her card. It;s a shame we did have a sick massage therapist out on that sunday we don't take sunday massage generally.We love our customers and we don't rip off!! Owner Victoria Coleman

It is unfortunate to have to report, for the purposes of warning others, that I was ripped off by A Fresh Face. I received a Spa Finder gift card for my birthday and had not used it in about a year. I wanted to use the card so I went online to research various spas in my area for services and prices. I chose A Fresh Face because she was offering a holiday special for a microdermabrasion and facial, which was normally priced at $99 for $49. When I called to make the appointment, I stated more than once that I wanted to take advantage of the special price of $49 and that would be using my $50 gift card. She performed a nice facial on me and, at the time, I thought I would certainly return there in the future. She pointed out the rosacia on my nose and said she could "zap" it. We discussed prices and she agreed to "zap" 5 areas for $30 each for a total of $150. She said it would also include a follow up visit in two weeks because many times it requires more than one treatment. I agreed because I had just received a $99 microdermabrasion for $49 and I had my Spa Finder Gift card. When we went to check out, she charged me $99 for the facial. I indicated again that I was taking advantage of the holiday special rate of $49. She indicated that my treatment included the facial and that it was $150 on special for $99. Since there was another woman waiting, I did not want to argue ... perhaps I was mistaken. I had already picked up her brochures, so when I went home, I took a look at the brochures and visited her website and found that she was lying. She did not have any microdermabrasion listed for $150 and the microdermabrasion with facial was listed for $99. I called her and told her I was overcharge. She made a shallow excuse and said she would credit back $50. I called her back and reminded her that she was supposed to also check the rosacia and I suggested that instead of the credit, I would like another facial so that she could check out the rosacia and rezap any areas that needed it. She scheduled an appointment a few weeks away. I called her the day before the appointment to confirm and to remind her about our arrangement. The day of my appointment I again called to confirm and then asked if she had a time available other then 1:30. She said she usually does not work on Sundays, but she had another appointment, so she could take me on Sunday at 1:00. Since that time also worked for me, I decided to take it. I showed up today at 1:00 and she was not there and she didn't bother to call me to reschedule. I work so many hours during the week and I hate it when people screw up my time off. This appointment was right in the middle of my day and then she had the nerve not to show up. Now I must call my credit card company and put the charges in dispute ... if I still can. Unfortunately, I will not be using SpaFinder again, nor will I ever buy a SpaFinder gift card. Great idea, but I guess anyone who owns a spa can be on spa finder.

This is a coupon special who showed up late and did'nt get all of her service. There are about four coupon people who took service and showed up late and not at all. In the contract you signed it stated you would be charged.

The owner is the individual who does the treatments. First off, she's incredibly rude. Secondly, she over charges. I had asked for a swedish massage and she charged me for a more expensive deep tissue massage. I've had plenty of massages in my life and hers was a poor excuse. She's incredibly pushy for additional treatments and buying products. She also sold me used and already opened products at a jacked up price. When I didn't tip her because I was so appalled at my experience, she had the audacity to call me and yell at me. I'm really surprised she even made it on this site. Truly awful spa, person, and experience.

Meg we are sorry you feel that way but these accusations are false and we did are best and the owner is a lovely person and cares about her work and if she has pleased her clients. You must have taken the follow up call in a negative way. you got are special discount price and you left no tip. It's are concern why you would'nt leave a tip? if the service was not up to par we except that but please don't attack us with cruel hurtful reviews. You must know one of are compeditors and are trying to take are ratings down....We were shocked by this! We will continue to give are very best and not let people like you effect us.

Very relaxing atmoshpere and the service is fantastic. I get the brow wax and tint as well as the eye lash tint and it is perfect every time! I have taken my mom, sister and husband for various services and we are never dissapointed.

I learned about this skin care clinic when I did a google search for anti-aging facials. I would like to share that my treatment at A Fresh Face was so wonderful ,and relaxing. I felt like I got knowledge about my skin, and a very thorough and relaxing facial. Some perks I didn't exspect.I also look for sterile spas whenworkinf with my skin. This spa was very clean.My skin looked great when iI left and even better a week later. Anti-aging skin teas, and tonics, warm hand ,and foot, parrifin dip, and a warm thank you for my business, along with a follow up call, and a invite back for a different service, Wow that's the first!
