I booked a spa party @ Orange Skye for my best friend's birthday a few weeks ago because they came highly recommended by one of my co-workers. The staff was professional, friendly and VERY accomodating. The spa was clean, warm and inviting. The room was nicely decorated for us (complete with a fruit platter, wine & crackers). The services were omg.....EXCELLENT!!! I booked for a party of 10 girls including myself and we all COMPLETELY ENJOYED our massages, facials, body wraps, mani & pedi. Best spa experience ever!!! All the girls are begging me to plan another event @ Orange Skye so i have book another party for next month.....and the best part about it is I dont have to do anything but call to make the appt. and show up......they do ALL the work........AHHHHHH!!!

I booked the spa for my wife to get a Mothers day gift, two weeks in advance. I call to confirm 24 hours prior and find that the person who took my reservation got it completely wrong. I ordered a chocolate wrap an massage. So they corrected the appointment and changed the time to later in the Saturday afternoon. Saturday as I'm running errands the same person calls me and tells me they have to move the appointment again, due to a wedding party that showed up late, pushing back my wife's appointment an hour, effectively ruining my surprise and killing my wife's chance of getting the spa day i wanted her to experience. So I've given one star, as they weren't even able to accommodate me or give me a make good of any kind.

The waiting area was really nice especially for the amount of time you spend there waiting to begin your service. They do not appear to have regular staff available. I'm used to going to a spa and beginning my scheduled service ASAP. It's not relaxing when you are waiting to begin your service, its stressful.

what a great experience with cathy. the spa area has ample parking and the spa is spotlessly clean. the staff can not do enough to make your experience wonderful and are successful at it. this is the first time I did not have a clock ticking down the time left and went over what I scheduled just to make the spa experience great. this was the best massage and facial I have ever had (and I have had many!!) the products were great and I was surprised to buy them at a price better than even drug store prices! will definitely be a return customer over and over!

Another spa bites the dust!! Came here last year for their spa week specials and again I was disappointed! I got the body wrap, massage and a facial. The massage was good, more therapeutic to treat my sciatica than relaxing but that's ok. The therapist was very professional. The wrap was ok, it was a slimming wrap. Though i'm sure it was all in my head I thought I did lose an inch lol Probably from the water I was losing from the sweat. Ok to the really horrible part. The facial. This to me was the worst because the owner herself gave me this facial. I was at 1st so happy that she would do my facial and the minute she started I was horrified. Her technique was not standard nor professional and she even hurt me but squeezing too hard and she broke some of my capillaries and scarred my nose. I cannot believe how bad this was and she thought she gave me the best facial in the world. Sorry lady maybe you should go back to school. DO not go here it's really not worth the waste of money and the travel.

The reason I gave Orange Skye Body and Beauty Bar 3 stars is because when I arrived home after my Swedish massage I felt more pain in my neck/back area than I usually have. I've gotten a Swedish massage at another spa once before and I think it was way better than the one I received today because my body actually felt more relaxed afterward . But I did enjoy the atmosphere. Oh yeah, and I think they should invest in better robes because the ones they have there are kind of scratchy.

I've been to numerous spas and have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my session. The appointments were all honored. This place did NOT honor my appointment. I waited over 45 minutes. Spas typically are very strict with appt times and respectful of peoples times - not so with this one - at least not with me. Instead of destressing - I was very stressed.

I am a mom with 3 children and a hectic schedule. I was referred to Orange Skye by a good friend of mine who was celebrating her birthday. . . I have visited a couple of spas on vacation. But with vacationing prices so high I decided to join this party and book a couple of spa services.. When you walk into this spa the ambience is cozy and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and we did not have to wait long at all. I can truly say that the Deep Tissue/Therapeutic massage was probably the best massage I ever had. There was 11 of us and we were all very pleased. I would definetely go there again.

Well. My girlfriend told me about this spa . We went in and felt instantly relaxed. The decor is very warm and homey. My therapist was Boris. He does this Russian Classical Massage. and it was the BEST. I was hesitant about a male massage person. But I am so glad that I got him that Day. I have had a few massages before So far he was the Best. The staff at Orange Skye is Tops.

For years I couldn't find a decent (let alone good) place in my neighborhood to get a massage.. I ended up getting a pinched nerve in my neck and could not find anyway to relieve the pain. I did a search on line and came across Orange Skye Body and Beauty Bar in Valley Stream.. I went to my first appointment today and all I can say is AMAZING.. When you first walk in the atomosphere of the place is so warm.. And the people are VERY friendly. I was given a full tour of the Spa and was in shock of all they have to offer.. The Spa is so much bigger than it actually appears.. The person who topped the cake for me was EVELYN... SHE WAS FANTASTIC!! I cannot say enoy good things about her. She asked what I needed and delivered.. There were times I was laying there saying to myself "I wish she would do this".. And as if she could read my mind, she did it.. That happened 3 times during my treatment.. I HIGHLY recommend trying this place out.. You won't be disappointed. I am going back.. And SOON!!! Enjoy.. And ask for Evelyn..
