In a nutshell, this is one of the worst spa experience I ever had. I have experienced various treatments at different facilities/brands in over 15 countries by now, so I am qualified to judge the quality of spas.I did the Dead Sea Facial and Swedish Massage. Either the therapist was totally inexperienced or just do not understand her job. From the beginning, I could tell her hand movements were too rough to give me any moment of relaxed feeling. When applying the cleansing was quickie, followed by wee-bit of face lotion, then a hard scrub that made me worried about my skin afterwords. But the worst part was a mud mask. When finished the whole treatments and looked at a mirror, I could not believe the way my face appeared. It was covered with mud mask spots. Imagine, the therapist applied a serum on top of it! When pointed out those residues, she was not at all apologetic nor embarrassed. Rather she answered, "it is difficult to see because the room is so dark" and "this is a mud mask and it's sometimes quite difficult to remove". Pathetic answer for a so-called professional therapist. Also, during the body massage, her hands moved so rough, that I felt a pain especially on the chest.I learned later at the reception, that this was a temp replacement from an "agency" whilst their own therapist was on holiday. Another pathetic excuse. Whether a temp or your own, it is imperative you deliver the same level of standard and quality that you claim and advertise. If you cannot find someone good enough, it's better not to take any customers than giving your customers a compromised treatment services. You are only creating a list unhappy customers, which could eventually kill your brand reputation. This SPA is located in right opposite the Raddison Edwardian Hotel, and I saw a couple of hotel guests popping in to enquire an availability of space. There may be a constant flow of "one-off" foreign guests (I am one of them), but I really wonder if they have a good list of local repeapers.
