Located one hour east of Rome, in a medieval city known for its natural mineral springs, this one-hectare (2.5-acre) hotel has 86 guest rooms, one restaurant, and a spa with an array of modern amenities. The spa offers an extensive list of treatments that use natural ingredients, some found locally. The mineral water springs, at the spa or right at the source a short walk away, are said to have healing properties. An 18-hole golf course, outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, and other sporting facilities are available nearby. Indoor and outdoor meeting space can accommodate parties of 20 to 500.

With minimalist design, the Tangerine Spa (1,000 square meters; 10,763 square feet) has six treatment rooms, including one spa suite with its own sauna and steam room. Other facilities include a sauna and steam room for all spa guests, a rain labyrinth (a hot and cold shower area), flotation pool and rooftop garden. There is also a color therapy swimming pool (80 square meters; 861 square feet) and fitness room (35 square meters; 376 square feet).

A variety of massages, facials, and body treatments rely heavily on natural ingredients such as clay found locally, honey, grapes, and cereals, in addition to wine, caviar, and chocolate. The Chocolate Ritual, performed in the spa suite, begins with a full body chocolate peel, time in the private sauna, a shower, chocolate mud bath, and concludes with a 40-minute body massage with chocolate oil. The extensive selection of massages includes shiatsu, lomilomi, hot stone, lymph drainage, four-handed, sports, aromatherapy, reflexology, and Watsu. The spa also offers nail and waxing services. Modified treatments for children 14 and up are available at special rates. Day clients are welcome.

Light menu options can be served on the spa terrace. Natural spring water from Fiuggi's sources, Fonte Anticolana and Fonte Bonifacio, is available at the spa. Guests may also pay for direct access to the fountains at a park area, 400 meters (less than a mile) away.

The hotel has 86 guest rooms: eight singles and 78 doubles (25 square meters; 269 square feet). (Additional beds are available for some rooms.) Rooms have private bath with shower or tub and a view of the terrace, inner courtyard, or old town.

The hotel has one restaurant, open for lunch and dinner, for guests only. Salone delle Feste serves regional specialties made with local ingredients. Separate dining areas can be reserved for private parties of up to 150. Meals may also be requested for outdoor dining on one of the terraces. Vegetarian menus can be arranged with prior notice.

Activities

The hotel has bikes for complimentary use. The medieval town center, with shopping, dining, and a weekly outdoor market, is 20-minutes away on foot and also accessible by bus. Golf is available (for a fee) at an 18-hole course four kilometers (less than three miles) away. Swimming, tennis, horseback riding, and archery are offered at a nearby public sports center, and there is rafting on the Aniene River, 40 kilometers (25 miles) away. During the summer, the hotel organizes activities for children age three to 12.

Indoor and outdoor meeting space consists of six rooms (20 to 384 square meters; 215 to 4,133 square feet) and two terraces (250 square meters; 2,691 square feet). The largest venue, Ambasciatori Hall, can accommodate 500; the smallest, the Mimosa Room, 20.
