If you want to go for a simple, basic facial then go for it. I had an extraction done 6 weeks ago. 3 days later I was black and blue! I still have bruises on my face to this day. I've been wearing make up every day to cover it up. I'm trying to find a job but I'm so embarrased about my bruises. It looks like someone punched me in the face. Please don't let these students do the same to you.

Dear Badams3208, We appreciate that you got in touch with us after your treatment and told us what had happened. We were grateful to have the opportunity to schedule a meeting with you and our aesthetics program director to hear about your experience and to apologize in person. As the director explained, we had not encountered this type of skin reaction before and we had hoped that the products we gave you would remedy the condition. Even though SensAbility is a teaching clinic, students are closely guided by instructors, and we don’t know why this highly unusual reaction occurred. We invite you to contact us again if you still have any concerns. SensAbility, the teaching clinic of Atlanta School of Massage and Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics

When I was just out of college and living in Atlanta, booking a student massage was the only way I could afford this treat! Although the student massages are generally excellent (they do not get appointments in the spa until they are near graduation and have done many hours of practice on friends), I usually spring for the higher-priced professional massage these days. I don't live in ATL anymore and find the professionals are more consistent. The school has a neat little shop, with interesting books, anatomical posters, aromatherapy items and Jane Iredale products.

I've been to the Atlanta School of Massage three times to receive student services. The prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere is professional, and the facility is clean and inviting. Separate sections for men and women include showers. Students who perform the services are in the last part of their programs of study getting excellent practice for when they graduate. And they really know their stuff. Once the services are performed, the clients have the opportunity to critique the student with one of the instructors. I highly recommend the Atlanta School of Massage for quality as well as price. Student services are not available every day. Reservations required.
