Amadeus Spa

The front desk staff are rude and not at all friendly or welcoming. I would never go back to this place again. Thankfully there are plenty of other choices in Pasadena.

Last year I began visiting Amadeus on a once/twice-a-month basis, always with the same masseur. He was Wonderful! Alas he left and then it all went to Heck! 1st: I booked my appointment and gave them my work as a callback number.... They called and left a message on my home phone... Gee I was at work and I never got the message! 2nd: I agreed to come in 15 minutes early so that I could have 1.5 hour massage (prior to their closing). I was there early, and the masseuse was not interested in providing a full 90 min. massage. 3rd: When discussing the length of the massage I had booked, the masseuse SCREECHED at Me "I can't work like this!" and she gave me a rough & hostile massage. 4th: The steam room is too hot & suffocating, the steam never lets up and I could smell the mold. 5th: The door to the women's changing room opens to the right (where clients leave from, In Their FACE) , rather than to the left (where the wall is). I have mentioned this Every-Single-Time I was there: Nothing changed. 6th: The desk staff are nice, cute, inexperienced young girls who do not seem to be interested in their customers nor are they fully trained. You have to know, that I Am Not Going Back!

I had been going to this spa for a couple times now. I liked the visits there. They are not very big like the ones like Vegas but they do provide variety of services and accomodities. There is a small but comfortable waiting room. There is also have a small steam room in the change area which not all spas have. There are more than one shower stalls and and also vanity equipments in the change area. The masseuses there are very friendly. Amadeus (pasadena) has the individual rooms for each client not like some of the others that may need to share with others, which makes each experience a little more personal.

I have received several services at this spa, including mani/pedi, acrylic nails, eyebrow shape and tint, eyelash dye, and facial. I was very pleased with every service. The nail services were average, but I would never go anywhere else for any of the other services.
