La Vita Bella Day Spa

After a long day at work I was really looking forward to my Swedish massage with Samantha and I was not disappointed. She was very pleasant and the massage was wonderful. I plan on going back and telling my friends.

I wouldn't go again. Got a so-so massage that was interrupted by over hearing about the owners money problems and her arguing on the phone with someone. There were several off smells like mold or something and the linens were dirty. I won't be going back.

I have visited this spa on 2 other occasions, but only to restock on my face cleaner and moisturizer. I have always had great experiences with the people in the front. They are friendly and helpful. On my last visit, I got involved in some casual conversation with them and enjoyed myself so much that I decided to try the services. I scheduled a package this last week that included a facial, massage and pedicure and I enjoyed every minute. So much that I rescheduled! Each person was kind and gentle paying attention to my needs. If it were not for the caring and helpful nature of this staff, I probably would have kept buying skin care. Now I buy my skin care and get services!

I think this spa is all about making a buck and not wanting returning customers. After reading about the person who spent $400 @ the spa and the desk argued with her over the charges I should have known better than to go to this spa. Do you not want returning customers??? I didn't read the reviews before I went and unfortunately the same thing happened to me. Please do not give this spa your time of day. The massage therapist do their job it is the lady at the front desk that you should be aware of!

My husand and I were visiting Kansas on 8-7-2010 and I booked an appointment at this spa. I arrived early like they suggested and it was a fabulous experience right from the start. I was greeted warmly and after the paperwork, I was shown to a locker. The total body sugar scurb smelled wonderful and I really enjoyed the treatment. The pedicure was great and Courtney McMurty really took her time and pampered my feet. I have nothing but rave reviews for this spa.

I was very happy with the services I received at this spa. My first visit was in February and I was welcomed, shown around and made to feel comfortable right away. I had a relaxing facial followed by a massage. My massage therapist was very knowledgeable about the areas I carry my stress, worked on them and suggested ways I could do things differently to help prevent the build up that sends me running to get a massage! I can't wait for my next visit!

My recent visit to this spa was wonderful. I have been here before several times and thought it was about time to write a review. Everytime I visit La Vita Bella, I always feel welcomed and special...I enjoy my conversations with the staff and I feel that they are truly looking out for my best interest; the massage therapist shows me stretches to do every day to help relieve tension. The facial girl informs me of vitamins and supplements to better my overall skin health. These people love what they do and you can definately tell!

I received a spa finder gift card for Christmas last year and searched the spa's in my area and decided to give La Vita Bella a try. They won me over! I went in for a massage and a pedicure. My massage was in a beautiful room that was decorated in very nicely and I was so relaxed, I feel asleep. Afterward, my therapist spent time with me showing me some stretches I could do at home to help with my problem areas. My pedicure was professional and thorough. Special care was given to ensure my rough spots were smoothed out and my toes looked good. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I brought my 13 year old daughter with me for swedish massages, she was alittle nervous at first but felt right at home soon afterward. We both got very good care at this spa, the staff is very friendly and will be making appointments soon again!

I visited this spa over the holidays while visiting my family and I was thoroughly happy with the service and attention I received. I had a massage and a body treatment and after both, I was so relaxed that I didn't want to leave. I sat in the living room area and caught up on my magazine reading . . . they have this journal for guest to write in or just read and although it just got started, it is interesting to see what other people view 'life' like or to just see their thoughts on their favorite quote or way of life! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the spa is clean and comfortable. Long story short, I will definately be back everytime I get in town and kudos to the owner and her shop! Very well done!

I have to say that I have been visiting this spa since they opened and I have had a mixture of services ranging from facials to massage, waxings and pedicures. With the exception of ONE time, I have always had an excellent experience and superior service. I had a small issue with one of my services and I politely talked to the owner and stated my issue calmly. Stacey was very gracious, apologetic, she immediately addressed the issue, plus tried to refund my money! I came on here to write a Thank You to La Vita Bella for the wonderful care they gave my husband on his first visit, but once I read the 'Bianca' post, I felt it was necessary to tell people about my experiences! I love this spa and the people in it! They are a friendly group of individuals with unique qualities. The owner is very nice and accomodating! The spa always smells so nice and is very clean!! Why else would I buy all my friends gift certificates for Christmas? I live approx 13 miles away, why else would I drive past 8 or 9 spas to come here?! Why? Because this spa is beautiful, the services are wonderful and the staff is friendly and helpful!!

I would not recommend this spa to my worst enemy!! The service we got was bad and the spa was unclean! I had hair in my Lunch plate and it was not worth the plate it was on..... If you really want exceptional service you might as well look for another place! The owner is extremly rude and doesn't care about anything but making a dollar and at your expense. RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I visited this spa once before with a so-so experience but decided to give it another try. I received a pedicure, manicure, brow wax, and eyelash tint. I was so pleased with my whole experience. I would recommend a lash tint to EVERYONE!! My pedicure and manicure was excellent and lasted for a very long time.

I received a SpaFinder Gift Certificate for my birthday and was interested in getting a pedicure and back fill on my acrylic nails. When I called to schedule, I was told they only provided natural nail services. However, the young lady that answered the phone, Stacy, was very helpful in helping me find another day spa in the Kansas City area that did offer artificial nail services and proceeded to stay on the phone with me for approx 15 - 20 minutes searching the internet and giving me phone numbers to other day spas. I was so impressed, that I decided to forgo my original appointment plans and ended up scheduling a facial and a pedicure with Leatha. I have never felt so much compassion and sincerety by total strangers. Leatha was like the daughter I never had!! I highly recommend this day spa, not only for the great customer service, but for the beautiful decor, friendly professional staff and the awesome services they offer!! Thank You La Vita Bella!! I went in for just a Manicure and was so pleased with the work that was done I decided to try it again with a few friends. I scheduled an appointment for me and 4 of my closest friends. We each were pampered with a 1 hour massage, 1 hour facial, and 1 hour spa pedicure. The services were all wonderful and the staff was very accommodating and to top it all off we were served a lovely and fulfilling lunch plate. I would recommend anyone wanting to experience calm and professional spa to go to La Vita Bella Day Spa. They really do live up to their name! Way to Go!!!!!!!

My whole experience with a facial, massage, and pedicare was just so-so. I thinik after visiiting The Spa Tuscano I now compare spas to them and they set the bar extremely high. After my visit I called to discuss why my price was ~20 dollars more that the two packages I purchased (for me and a friend). ~20 dollars more than the brochure that I had picked up about 2-3 weeks prior to my visit from inside the spa said the package prices were. I was given the run-around for 15 minutes about how the packages are such a good deal compared to buying each service separately (of courise!) and was told there was no way I received a book with their old prices because the books had been updated 3 months prior. So after spending over $400 I was called a liar on the phone and never once even told "sorry". We really did receive a book with old prices - It wasn't our fault - Just say SORRY instead of ending a conversation with "you couldn't have received a book with those prices". Don't waste time or $$ here. Go to Spa Tuscano in KC, MO!!

I was definately excited that a day spa was coming out to our area, but I would have never have guessed that it could exceed my expectations the way it did. The atmosphere is incredible, totally relaxing, and done exactly the way a day spa should be. I opted for three services, the 60 minute Swedish massage, spa pedicure, and facial, and they were all wonderful! In between my second and last service, I relaxed in the lounge with a hot cup of tea and a small lunch plate with fresh fruits, meats and cheeses. I'm feeling lucky that (in my opinion) the best day spa in the KC Metro has just opened up right around the corner from me! If you are coming into the KC area and are looking for a relaxing spa experience, THIS is the place to come.
