Casa Spa

Firstly, I cannot believe how this place has got so many amazing reviews. Believe me when i tell you that they are not true or were extremely lucky to have had the place to themselves when they went. My review is too long to fit in here so i'll eep it brief: overcrowded in the steam room ( 7 of us in the tiny space) mitts not changed/cleaned from one client to the next, rude staff especially Helen the owner. They wanted to put a male client in woith 3 naked females then huffed and puffed and were angry when we said we felt uncomfortable with this! NOT AT ALL RELAXING!!!I have to say it was the worst spa I have ever been to - totally did the opposite of what it was intended for. I came out feeling more stressed and actually unclean than I did before I went in!DO NOT BOOK FOR ANYONE AS A GIFT. WASTE OF MONEY AND OVERCRODED AND NOT A TRUE HAMMAM EXPERIENCE! I have had a beautiful hammam in Morocco and it wasw amazing. This was not the case at CASA SPA!!!

I was looking forward to spending a relaxing time with my 4 friends. Unfortunatly we experienced few incidents from the begining. Although we arrived 10 minutes late, the manager told us 45 minutes later to go to the changing room. The changing room is a small area where men and women get change, though not at the same time. There are lockers but no way in locking your personal effects securely. The steam room: beware of the jet that sticks out of the wall by the door. One of my friend was burnt very badly by the jet of steam when she opened the door!!! There was no communication on how long we were supposed to stay in the steam room and received the rest of our treatment. Another friend felt unwell although she went in and out the steam room. We stayed there more than 30 minutes. My friend who was unwell and another decided to stop the treatment and complained to the manager who was rude to them and shouted at them only because they wanted that one of them to receive a refund.Very bad experience and I won't go back there.

Reading the other review I find it hard to believe we were in the same place! .. Everyone was so helpful, professional and both my friend and I had a relaxing time soaking up the steam and dozing through the massages. The ambiance is like nothing I've felt before and can only imagine it to be like a true Moroccan experience. Well done to everyone and we will be back again soon.

There is no order to this place. The manager is crazy and does not welcome you or let you know what is happening. I went as part of a group and we could not all be together. The spa was over booked, tiny with no privacy which was not great when men were in the spa too. We had to keep reminding staff and manager of our treatment as she was trying to over charge us. The staff give amazing treatments are over worked and I don't know how they work with her.
