About St. Regis Aspen Resort
Set at the foothill of the Aspen Mountain, the St. Regis Aspen Resort evokes a sense of indulgence and adventure inspired by the spirit of the Rockies. The resort is home to Aspen's first luxury hotel spa, the Remède Spa, which is considered to be one of the best spas in the Rocky Mountain area. The 15,000-square-foot spa, built completely below ground, features customized treatments and a hydrotherapy pool with three waterfalls.
Tastefully appointed guest rooms feature thoughtful details of cozy furnishings, high-tech touches, and kiddie and pet amenities, and the resort's dining option reflects traditional American cuisine. The St. Regis is conveniently located between the mountain's two major base ski lifts, offering prime access to a wealth of winter outdoor activities; during the warmer months, the area offers a menu of recreational pursuits just as vast. Aspen's restaurants, shops, and nightlife are a short stroll away.

Services
The 15,000-square-foot Remède Spa, which is completely below ground, has 15 treatment rooms, including one couple's room and a Vichy shower room. The centerpiece, though, is the Confluence, a co-ed hydrotherapy pool, with three warm and cold waterfalls, honed-granite steam-room walls, and black and off-white pebbles lining the showers. The spa also has a sauna, warm and cold plunge pools, men's and women's locker rooms (with steam rooms), vapor caves, whirlpools, lounges, and a spa boutique. Treatments include customized, results-oriented facials, massage, body treatments, waxing and nail services, with touches such as chilled champagne, Jacques Torres truffles, and Kashwere throws. Classes in yoga and aerobics are available at the movement studio, and the fitness center is open 24 hours a day. The spa has also partnered with the Aspen Back Institute to offer non-medical back care and wellness programs.

High-tech amenities include video game systems, Bose CD players, 30-inch flat-screen TVs, DVD/VHS player, digital music, movies, high-speed wireless Internet access, fax equipment, and video checkout. All guest rooms and suites have access to the St. Regis butler service.

There's also an exhibition kitchen, and cooking classes are offered in the summer. Complimentary hot chocolate is served at the resort's poolside bar. All restaurants have children's options.

Activities
The resort is a snow lover's paradise, with opportunities for skiing, winter fly fishing, snowmobiling, snowshoe tours, and dog sledding. Skiers and snowboarders can take advantage of the resort's Ski Valet Program, which helps guests with their equipment, provides transportation to the different mountains, gives tips on the weather and mountain conditions, and helps care for equipment overnight.
Guests who visit in the summer will find a lot to do, as well, including golf and tennis, horseback riding, swimming, whitewater rafting, fishing, hiking, biking, paragliding, off-road Jeep tours, clay target shooting, and even hot air balloon rides. The resort offers its own diversions, too, including a multi-million dollar art collection and complimentary use of Lexus convertibles.
When exploring Aspen, kids may want to visit a ghost town, take a mine tour, or visit a park. More adult options include taking in a show at the Wheeler Opera House, visiting a museum, checking out the Aspen Music Festival, or sampling goodies at the Food & Wine Classic.
