    Step into the Victorian era at this spa housed in an historic building built in 1887. Touches of the Victorian period can be seen in the 1867 rosewood square grand piano, Victorian décor, including the same carpet pattern used in the Titanic movie's ballroom, and stained glass windows in the massage rooms and showers. Services offered by the spa include a variety of massage modalities, neck and shoulder acupressure, a tea tree oil scalp treatment, a vanilla ice body soufflé, a revive facelift massage, and hand and foot treatments. The spa grows its own roses and often uses them in treatments. A floral designer is on-site to create custom arrangements for guests. Packages are available and the spa hosts parties as well.

This place is amazing for couples. I chose this place based on reviews and location to pamper my boyfriend for his birthday. It was less than 1 mile from San Diego Harbor were I had planned to have dinner cruise afterwards. We had Decadence Deluxe pakage. Almost 2.5 hours of royal pampering for couples for only $250. Kelly and Karla were amazing. They made as feel very comfortabe. We had unforgetable experience with romantic victorian setting and ambiance. Don't pay attention to this one negative review. There are some people you cannot make happy no matter what you do. Victoria Rose Spa is very professional. We cannot wait to go back there.

I just felt like I needed to post something regarding the service I received from the mgr at this location. Her name was Kelly and she was beyond rude when working with me. Because of a conflict of scheduling she called me and pretty much said, "sorry about your luck - you have to reschedule..." and I was already on my way there!? She knew I was on my way and had been driving in traffic for 20 minutes already. When I got there she had locked the doors and put the "In session" sign in the window. I would recommend everything else about this place. The setting was perfect for my wife's birthday present - which will not happen now, and the people I had spoken with earlier in the day were great... but the Manager obviously has let her position go to her head, because it was amazingly unprofessional. Thanks for ruining my wife's present Kelly... Class act, for sure.

I went to Victoria Rose based on its excellent spafinder reviews, and it was even better than I expected. I had the peppermint foot treatment and the facelift massage. I haven't been that relaxed in a very long time, and my shoulders are still farther from my ears than before. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable, and the staff is excellent.

I got Pampering Deluxe Spa package, which consists of neck and shoulder massage in the jacuzzi tub and relaxing massage in a room. My therapist was Thia, who was very friendly and informative. She knew exactly where to relieve my tension and I felt great. Whenever I get a massage I usually get nervous but Thia made me feel really comfortable and relaxed. I am definitely going back again to get the couples massage with my husband and will refer Victoria Rose Spa to my friends.

My wife and I have been going to Victoria Rose for several years, and we have yet to be disappointed. The atmosphere is extremely relaxed and comfortable, not like many of those hoity toity day spas...the staff is ultra friendly, they give amazing massages, and you definitely can't beat the prices they have. I'm actually writing this review after looking for a spa with similar offerings closer to my home (as VR is 30 miles), but the same treatments were more than double in most places...and when I'm already receiving top level service, massage, at a great price, why change...I've booked 2.5 hours for my wife and I this weekend! The only thing I wish is that they would get at least a wine and beer license so my wife and I could enjoy champagne while relaxing in the whirlpool ;)

The overall atmosphere of this place was excellent. My Boyfriend and I took part in a couple massage, foot and hand massage and the hot tub. Great couples retreat. If you are looking for a romantic spot, this is the place.

I never really believed in massage therapy...until now. I left Victoria Rose Spa happy and relaxed. I haven't been in as beautiful a setting since Hearst Castle. Vivienne, my massage therapist and quite a lovely lady took such great care in relieving tensions and making me feel relaxed. The big marble spa tub was wonderful. I wanted to stay forever.

As I pulled up the the beautiful house I was already excited. I checked in and was escorted downstairs to my room and given plenty of time to settle in for my massage. The Victorian house is just magnificent there were candles everywhere. I got a one hour massage by Deanndra and it was wonderful! All my tension just melted away. I will definitely be back again!

This place is a fabulous treat for couples, but I can see how it would be just as great for individual treatments. It's a warm and relaxing setting in a beautiful Victorian home. We had the Deluxe Decadence package and Vivienne and Deanndra were attentive to every little detail to ensure that we were comfortable and did not feel rushed. My husband and I have had numerous couples massage treatments, but this was the best! We've tried others offering similar couples packages, but none compare. If you want to be pampered in a beautiful environment, from the surroundings to the therapists, this is the place to go. I can't wait to go back!
