I've been a loyal client of the owner and my hairstylist for nearly 6 years and gladly followed her to the opening of her own new salon in Elgin. The atmosphere is nice, clean and accommodating. The services are typically Aveda...refreshing, natural and calming, and the overall experience is always pleasant. Give it try!

I went to this salon thinking it would be an amazing aveda experience. I was sooo disappointed!! :( The pedicure was short and terrible....opposite of the description that was given in the advertisement on the website. The stylist who gave me the pedicure also gave me my facial....which seemed like one I got in beauty school. But I paid a lot more money! She did my pedicure first so I could not lay comfortable under the blankets during my facial. Overall...a terrible experience and far from relaxing. :(

I've been to this salon several times and they never disappoint! This is the only place I go to get my cut and color and they have an amazing massage room in an old vault which is a cool atmosphere and their staff is great.

They massage/facial room is in an old bank vault... it's so unique! Of course an Aveda facial or massage is always great, but with the unique atmosphere, this was truly a wonderful and relaxing experience.

I LOVE this salon and spa. The staff with professional and friendly. The environment made me feel like I was at an upscale salon downtown - very ritzy feel without the exorbitant prices. I have found my new favorite!

I went to this spa and used my spa finder certificate. I had always wanted to try it since I lived in the area. I've hear they did great hair and assumed it was similar for nails. I got a no chip manicure and it was a disaster! The polish peeled, bubbled and split, ruining my nails. I went back for them to fix it and the same thing happened. Some of the polish peeled off but some I couldn't remove. It was necessary to soak my nails in acetone for over an hour and scrap it off before my several important business meetings. I spoke with the owner who offered a credit for me to get another service. I went back a month and a half later since I informed her I would be traveling extensively on business. The OWNER WOULD NOT honor her previous promise of a credit and would only allow me to get a no chip (which I wasn't going to chance) or a regular manicure as a trade, although the regular manicure is only $18 and the no chip $30. She refused to credit me the $30 toward two manicures or a manicure/pedicure. Ultimately she wasn't interested in making the situation right or correct their error.

Everyone was very friendly. I received many compliments on my new hair cut. The salon is beautiful and you must check out the massage room which is in a bank vault.
