About L'Albereta Relais & Chateaux
Espace Vitalité Henri Chenot is a medical spa that's part of the Hotel L'Albereta, a 57-room hilltop hotel housed in a renovated 19th-century villa, located 40 minutes northeast of Milan. The spa was founded in 2003 by health and wellness expert, Henri Chenot, and treatment philosophies are based on his concept of "biontology," which is concerned with a strong mind-body connection. The spa recommends that guests stay for a minimum of four days but encourages guests who can only come for the day to enjoy the spa's services.
Services offered include massage, body treatments, hydrotherapy treatments, facial therapies, scalp treatments, cellulite treatments, mesotherapy, acupuncture, anti-aging treatments, hair and makeup services, and manicures and pedicures. Diets are customized for guests, with an eye towards providing detoxification and relaxation benefits. The spa has recently launched new laser therapy treatments including wrinkle treatment and permanent hair removal.
Spa amenities include a large swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath, Kneipp bath, and hydrotherapy area. There's a fitness area, and classes include aqua gym sessions and gymnastics. Personal training sessions are offered through the spa.
A Relais & Chateaux property, Hotel L'Albereta is located in the Franciacorta wine region of Lombardy, Italy, and was once a summer hunting lodge. Surrounded by the Italian Alps, Lake Iseo, and area vineyards, the resort has played host to celebrities such as Sophia Loren. A variety of active diversions are offered, including biking, tennis, fitness trails, golf at the nearby Franciacorta Golf Club, and guided horseback rides.
