Global Spa Economy Estimated at $255 Billion a Year

Spas and spa treatments are playing a significant role in our lives – helping to combat stress and addressing a general desire for well-being. The impact of “spa” on the general economy had never been measured until last month when the first-ever Global Spa Economy Report was released. The report found that the industry is worth more than $250 billion globally and the UK market alone is worth over $1.7 billion.
