An après-ski soak is practically mandatory. And the Lodge has two enormous outdoor hot tubs (the steam rising off them is thicker than San Francisco fog). They're right next to a heated indoor-outdoor pool, which allows you to swim back into the balmy Clubhouse through a hatch in the building. The outdoor poolside chaises remain year-round and accumulate quite a bit of snow. "You'd be surprised by the number of guests cooling off on them," says Eigenmann.
