My husband and I thought to try this spa instead of traveling 3 hours north to Wine Country like we usually do. Although the masseuse gave us great treatment the previous times, the front desk girls were unfriendly and abrupt during our last and final visit. We were not sure of our appt time and called earlier--my husband left his cell number and a message since he got a recording. When we arrived the girl at the front desk said we were late. We received no phone call back. My husband had checked his cell phone and tried to show the girl, but she was quite rude and said our session would be cut short and we'd have to pay for the full session. I wish we got her name, but was too frustrated as we canceled and walked out. AquaBlue, please hire experienced and mature front staff people because you have lost our business forever.

this seems out of character completely. aquablue calls the client the evening before their appointment to CONFIRM time and remind our clients to arrive a little early to be able to RELAX in our RELAXATION room and have a cup of tea fresh fruit or champagne prior to their therapy start times. this is extremely important as part of the ambiance of our spa.
depending HOW late this client arrived there is a chance that they would have to have a shorter appointment or reschedule ...and there IS a fee for same day reschedules and cancellations and is clearly stated in all of our materials.
From the sound of this incident I think possibly the client was frustrated at being late for their appointment the front desk staff will go out of their way to accommodate the clients but can only do so to the respect and rights of the on time client that comes next.
this seems unfortunate also that I cannot find ANY evidence of this client and this incident and as a manager I am only as far away as my phone.
